Do you have the status bar disabled in Firefox?

Somehow this topic has gone horribly off-track. Zotero can and does handle "primary" source material. It's just that the original poster for esoteric reasons decided to not use Zotero for her primary sources. To address the actual heart of her quest…

Thanks for bringing this problem to our attention. We have a fix ready, and it should be available within the next 24 hours.

Not only are the terms localizable, both the pt-PT and pt-BR Zotero locales include the Portuguese "e" for "and." Maybe pedro-kun isn't using a Portuguese version of Firefox? In any case, he can change the output language of CSL to Portuguese by goi…

Persée is not on the list of Zotero compatible sites. Perhaps you are confusing that list with the list of open translator requests. Support for Persée would be great, but it doesn't appear that the site provides any structured metadata or export fo…

Thanks for bringing this issue to our attention. Fixed in the dev build and available in the next release. And Jean-Christophe, nous vous en prions.

You can also consult this partial list of supported sites.

This feature has been in Zotero since the very beginning (2006). Thanks for your words of support.

I'm pretty sure that MLA doesn't require that "in." Please check the MLA style guide.

Thanks for letting us know. Looks like Amazon changed some things over the weekend. We'll update our translator ASAP.
-
The problem is fixed in Zotero 1.0.6, which will be out soon.
-
Like I said, not elegant. Please be patient, we'll have something for you soon.

This original post is ancient and no longer relevant. If your item is a journal article and has data entered in its "Pages" field, your bibliography entry will display page numbers.

Ticket created.

Please check again to make sure you put the files in the right place.

Next time you can just keep the zotero.sqlite file. To recreate the file, use the command: sqlite3 zotero.sqlite < zotero.sql Then put this file in the zotero directory in your new Firefox profile directory.
-
If you search these forums, you'll find many workarounds that will do what you want, but none are especially elegant.

Please be more specific. Are you getting a save icon in the address bar and experiencing errors? Or are you not getting the icon at all? Have you tried clicking "Reset Translators and Styles..." from the "Advanced" pane in Zotero preferences?
-
I think you'll want to sync.

1. What citation style are you using? 2. Are you using the Word plugin to insert citations? 3. Are you dealing with two or more works by the same author? Or two or more works by different authors with the same surname? Zotero (and any other well-…

Frame handling is usually easy as long as the translator doesn't need to access data in multiple different frames. Without a subscription to Westlaw, it's difficult for us to develop a translator on our own. We're very eager to support Westlaw and w…

The keyboard shortcut cmd-shift-z to open/close Zotero will only work if you are not in a text field that supports undo/redo typing (e.g. text box, Firefox address bar, etc.). We don't want to interfere with system-wide functionality here.

gauburtin- Could you please check to see whether this loadtest build resolves the problem?
-
Zotero 1.5 will allow for this kind of storage. Attachments and other files in the zotero/storage folder can be kept locally.
-
Right now.

I would recommend using the same version on both machines. Zotero 1.0.4, which includes Firefox 3 compatibility, will be available soon.

The problem stems from the fact that LexisNexis does not present its author data in any consistent form. We're pulling their XML and doing the best with it that we can, but unfortunately the data is a mess on their end.
