Nice work team! Is there any chance we can get it in the F-droid store or as a straight `.apk` download? Or any plans to get it there? Not all android devices are on the Google Play store is all.

Thanks @dstillman

Yeah, it is not ideal, especially for the "S" section. Now I need to replace 4 keystrokes is... 67 keystrokes. :-/ Looking at the last time I experienced angst about this feature — https://danmackinlay.name/notebook/comfy_gnome.html#typeahead-navig…

@emilianoeheyns Thanks. Understanding that this particular thing is not Emiliano's responsibility, I'll mention for the wider community that I tried executing this snippet when the shortcut stopped working (asynchronously in the run javascript widg…

The keyboard shortcuts break for me reasonably often, although restarting does fix it. Is there any way to trigger Zotero.Translators.reinit() without restarting Zotero, which is tedious on my elderly laptop with large library?

I wrote a bunch of styles that do plaintext e.g. https://github.com/danmackinlay/styles/blob/master/markdown.csl It's not so bad if you use the visual editor: http://editor.citationstyles.org/visualEditor/

Good to know. I believe you that the cause is not the tag synchronising infrastructure - but it is nice that the spurious tags are finally gone when i synchronise using the new 5.0 beta. Thanks for that rapid fix!

Yes, Debug ID is D979703712 . It seems to pertain to record https://www.zotero.org/livingthingdan/items/itemKey/SWKWF243 Notably, that reference has several tags on the zotero website which it does not possess in my local zotero client (the local ve…

Wow! Thanks for the rapid fix @dstillman, especially on a weekend!

I resolved this problem by deleting zotero and reinstalling everything from the server. The fresh library, which has not gone through the migration process, does not seem to produce the error. Also the sqlite file is much smaller, 255MB instead of 3…

This error was occurring very frequently, and the modal dialog box was impairing my workflow, so I exported the modified PDF, deleted the Zotero copy then re-attached the modified version to the article. This solved the problem.

Nice work Dan!

Awesome. To be clear, this appears to be cosmetic; I have detected no data loss.

Upgraded. The errors goes away on restart. Next time it recurs I'll post a report.

Yes, I can; it took a while to recur. Report ID 1840227377 DebugID D767633022 It seems to be related to made changes to my library from two different machines. AFAICT I have not changed the same records.

Ah, OK. This might be a terminological difficulty then. So I migrated from Zotero 4 standalone to Zotero for Firefox 5.0 (i thought there *was* no standalone 5.0) After pointing Zotero 5.0 Firefox to my Zotero 4.0 standalone folder, Zotero for did …

You are correct. I'm delighted there's an instant fix for my problem... Thanks

OK, searching the forums hasn't revelaed an answer to the following question: How do it *remove* PDFs from my tablet once i've finished reading them? There is no "Remove from table" option in the context menu -> "manage attachments" section.…

I'm a "BibTeX folk". AFAICT, BibTex often relies (even today) on those quirky LaTeX diacritical macros to shoehorn even 8-bit ISO8859-1 characters into the ASCII 7-bit space since encoding problems are so rife across legacy packages. This is no…
