Java is independent of JavaScript. We'll see what Dan finds in your error report.

When you say that it doesn't work, do you see the Zotero pop-up at the bottom right of the page with an error message? Or is the pop-up empty and just says Saving to (that's what I'm seeing)? If it's empty, does the article actually save in Zotero …

To speed this up, could you provide a URL where this fails?

when i clicked on my username i can't seem to find my library folder.but i did found the library folderI'm confused by what you're trying to say. is there any other way where i can get the application to open? The only way (AFAIK) is to find the data…

what about Library/Mozilla instead of Library/Application Support? Is there anything there?

Have you tried looking at the Default Locations for your Zotero data directory? Do the file sizes and last modified timestamps (for zotero.sqlite) make sense given the last time you used Zotero?
-
Drag and drop. Either items or entire collections
-
Also, if you do the latter, you will still get that message about full storage until you disable file sync under Preferences -> Sync.
-
If you want to collaborate on a bibliography you will want to use a group (as you are right now) and drag the items you want to share into that group (you can also save items directly to the group). You cannot collaborate using your personal library…

I added some debugging code. Please update your translators via Preferences -> General -> Update Now, restart your browser, and provide a Debug ID for an attempt to import that item from Inspec

Though I think fcheslack may want to enable that button for all public groups and just redirect to a log-in/registration page if you're not logged in. Otherwise this is a bit confusing

Glad it worked out!

Check your spam folder. Otherwise, try deleting the new email you added and adding it again. Validation emails are working in general. Are there any special characters in your email address perhaps?
-
If they go to your group's lading page (e.g. https://www.zotero.org/groups/a_tale_of_souls_and_swords_eternally_retold) they will see a red Join Group button

:-( My link was better

Go to your google drive online, right-click the file, select manage revisions, and get the copy of the file that you uploaded before modifying it on your tablet. See https://support.google.com/drive/answer/2409045?hl=en

How can I include PDFs papers already downloade in my computer to Zotero Library and save data: authors name, title, journal, date, etc ?You can drag and drop PDFs right into Zotero, then you can right-click on the PDF file and choose "Retrieve Meta…

I can't use Zotero Standalone hereWhat exactly does this mean? Can you not open Zotero Standalone? Are you getting errors? Or the only problems are Chrome and Word integration? Also the Word pluggin for CromeThere is no such thing. Please provide li…

See the right hand side of this page: https://www.zotero.org/download/ There are two things to download: (1) Zotero Standalone - the giant red button and (2) one of the browser extensions (in your case Chrome) - the buttons right under the Zotero S…

the abstract had ended up under Keywords for some of my references after exporting from EndnoteAlso interested in how this happened. Could you find the said record in the EndNote's RIS file and paste it here (from TY through ER lines). Is it entered…
-
There should be no complications. If a record is in multiple subcollections, it will appear only once in the parent collection. If the record is actually duplicated and stored in separate subcollections, then both copies will be shown.

I assume your SA is currently pointing to C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\vsyteg5c.default-1391294546871\zotero In that case, you can change it to point to C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\31rbtr5f.defau…

Could you search your whole computer for "zotero.sqlite" files? Post here the file sizes and last modified dates for each file. Your references may be left in your old database if they did not sync to zotero.org before changing the data directory f…
-
The reference that Zotero claims is no longer in your database, when was it inserted into the document? Was it before pointing SA to Mozilla directory?
-
Now you should do the same from your work PC, though I suspect you don't have a way to do that right now. Have you tried substituting that one reference with one from your home PC's library? (I'm not sure if that's how you decided that you would ne…
-
No, do not re-install. This will almost never help resolve issues with Zotero. Can you add a new item to you home PC for testing and verify that this item syncs to zotero.org? (See My Library link at the top of the page)
-
So it seems like you're just having issues syncing the two libraries, once you fix the syncing, everything will work. Go through these steps to start: http://www.zotero.org/support/kb/changes_not_syncing
-
Zotero had an 'update' and asked which library to followA regular Zotero update will never ask you to point it to a data directory. Can you explain a bit more on how you updated? work PC does not have Zotero bar in Mozilla after that See http://www.…

Not possible currently. Has been discussed before though https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/12431/word-possibility-to-link-references-and-bibliography-in-a-document/

Restarting didn't help, but it worked after I cleared the cache. In the logs I saw that there was a newer version of RDF (than the one returned from zotero.org) already in the cache. Not entirely sure how that happened, but it's probably specific to…
