By "with Portuguese locale" I mean that you should select Chicago Manual of Style (author-date) style and then select Portuguese as the language. You will need to have Zotero 4.0.27 or later to see the language selection option.
-
Try Chicago Manual of Style (author-date) with Portuguese locale

No way to do it via Zotero UI, but if you're feeling a bit adventurous and aren't afraid of writing some simple code, you could use Zotero API to do it. https://www.zotero.org/support/dev/client_coding/javascript_api#examplebatch_editing If you're i…

Gracile, can you try the latest Zotero Beta and see if that fixes the issue?
-
I think that has always been the case, but I agree that having a button for files and no button for items is kind of confusing.
-
Also, at this point, what zotero.sqlite files do you have on your computer? Where are they located? What else is in the same directories? What size and modification dates do the zotero.sqlite files have?
-
Could you provide the error message exactly as it appears, even if it's not in English? That error didn't sound like something that Zotero would say (not the backup part anyway)
-
You should have Zotero Standalone open (the app you previously installed). Strictly speaking it is not required, since you can save directly to zotero.org, but having it open results in better Zotero experience.
-
You should update both Firefox and Zotero and _then_ restore your library. Though I still don't think that this is caused by a simple Zotero update.
-
I think you're supposed to drag the file over the extensions window, not a blank browser window. The wording is confusing.
-
Ok, so as you can see, Zotero is not listed as an installed extension. Download the safari extension from https://www.zotero.org/download/ (right side) and install it following these steps http://michaelgracie.com/2014/05/how-to-manually-install-a-s…

Can you also post a screenshot of Safari -> Preferences -> Extensions ?

If you create the group, then you are the owner and only your storage is considered. So your friend we'll be able to access file attachments and, if you enable it, upload new attachments as well.

That's sort of the result of https://github.com/zotero/zotero/pull/757 and should be fixed in the latest citeproc-js release (anything after 1.0.599). I'm not sure if Frank has a citeproc-js patch plugin available for that version, but if he does, y…

Manual collection ordering is not possible. You can prefix collection names with punctuation (e.g. "_zotero" or "!zotero") to force them to order to the top. Forcing ordering to the bottom is more difficult though. Something like "[z]apple" could be…

changing the available ones wouldn't affect any existing tags unless they were reassigned to the new colors or the DB settings were updated.Actually, I think that's a good news. I was concerned that if we were to change the colors, existing tags wou…

My only issue with this is that I'm trying to attach metadata to PDFs that already exist in my standalone library. I haven't used the browser plugin, so forgive me if there's an easy way to sync these up - I haven't looked into it.There actually is …

OK, great. That's what I've seen as well. We should already be supporting the simple CAPTCHA, though I've seen if fail once and I'm not entirely sure why yet. For the image verification, we hadn't seen that before today, so we'll need to come up wit…

Google has definitely flagged my IP because when I visit scholar through the browser, it makes me jump through hoops to use it. Can you describe this in more detail? Google appears to have recently added additional CAPTCHAs that we are not accountin…

Not sure how accurate this is, but here's a color blindness simulator http://www.color-blindness.com/coblis-color-blindness-simulator/ I looked at the current and proposed pallet under the deuteranopia filter and it seems like there are still a cou…

That looks pretty good, actually. IMO it's an improvement over existing colors even for non-colorblind users. Given that the colors stay the same overall, this patch should be easily accepted. Let's make sure it's actually an improvement for the col…

Or something like https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/Tech/XUL/colorpicker should provide enough color choice.
-
We should be able to use Firefox native (as of HTML5 and Fx v29) and it should just be a matter of adding a "Custom" entry in the color selection dropdown that would open up a color selection window.
-
I mean, I'm not dismissing the colorblind pallet, if we can make the pallet as colorblind compatible as possible that's great. But I wouldn't go to the extremes.
-
Which 9? I can pick out maybe 5 7 that are distinct enough for labels (i.e. I'd hardly consider more than two shades of "deuteranopia gray" to be workable). In either case, if the pallet is customizable that is not really an issue and we should pick…

From Rintze's twitter discussion, I like the colors that ColorBrewer offers: 9 data classes, qualitative data, set #1 or #3 look pretty good to me. I think allowing color customization would not be a huge problem. The only issue I can see is syncin…

How exactly are you importing from the Ebsco database?

What happens if you try to save it in the same location overwriting the existing file? The behavior you describe sounds like what Adobe Reader does, but I'm definitely able to save :/ the same location and that's the default location that is shown i…
