Sorry, not possible and I don't think we will be adding such functionality. I think color tags may be helpful here to distinguish notes within one item. http://zotero-manual.github.io/zotero-manual/tags#colored-tags

both HTTP and HTTPS urls work for me in Firefox and Chrome for both access and Zotero import. pubmed.gov fails in firefox since that redirects to httpBy "fails" here you mean that Zotero fails to import, right? changing to https gets inNot sure what…

I mean a specific url for a page you are saving
-
What URL are you saving from and what makes you think that it's an issue with HTTPS?
-
Which browser? Edit: Err, nvm. Obviously Firefox.
-
Oh, you're right. Not sure why the search turned up blank. We do have a translator for Informit. It does seem to no longer recognize the website. Perhaps Informit interface was recently updated. We'll take a look.
-
Zotero doesn't currently support informit database. Basically, https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/no_address_bar_icon but the icon now appears all the time and simply saves pages with poorer metadata if specific support for a website is lacking.

The functionality has not changed, just the location of the button, so I'm not sure I understand what you mean by "can't choose which destroys the way this thing has worked for years". Please be more specific if you want to convince us that somethin…

IIRC the last time I looked into this, it seemed that it would be best to perform automatic journal abbreviations based on the ISSN for journals that share the same title and particularly for those journals that add the city of publication to the ab…

It is a bit concerning, I'll admit, because it makes it easier for someone who is physically using your computer to obtain that password. Obfuscating wouldn't have much effect on the ability of malware to do the same, since there are many other ways…
-
No, don't worry about the screenshots, what you describe is what we expect. As Dan says, there is nothing we can do about it. This would be a Firefox issue, if it is an issue at all.
-
Yeah, have to have XHR enabled
-
noksagt is correct that using HTTPS ensures that your password is not visible to anyone between your computer and CloudME (Assuming your computer is not compromised). Firefox/Zotero console would come before SSL encryption, so it's theoretically pos…

2, I think. Those titles are never cited with subtitles are they? Do you think we're risking dropping parts of actual titles?
-
Frank, can you try updating your translators and trying this again? There was an issue with Lulu translator, which I fixed and that may have been causing problems. That would still mean that there are further issues with the way we handle failures t…

I can confirm the same behavior as Frank is reporting. No solution... but it's breaking from within US too.
-
Or just fix the value of the Publication field
-
Disable automatic journal abbreviations in document preferences if you want Zotero to use the Journal Abbr field. https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/journal_abbreviations Otherwise, like you say, Zotero automatically abbreviates the value of the Publ…

Does this happen for all web pages? If no, then what's the URL? Does the pop-up in the bottom right corner disappear? Are you using Zotero in Firefox along with Zotero Standalone? Have you tried this with Zotero Standalone closed? If this doesn't…

Should be fixed in the latest BibTeX/BibLaTeX translator. Update your translators via Preferences -> General -> Update Now and try again.
-
So not having a title is a problem with recent changes. The default Zotero behavior and UI should not make it possible to have no title for an attachment, but it's possible that Zotero plug-ins could enable this behavior. We'll obviously have to acc…

See my comment above

If you click on the attachment that causes issues and you look in the right-hand pane. What are the first two lines that appear there?
-
We just fixed this so that Zotero tries to get the Latin RIS version if non-Latin version is invalid. Update your translators via Preferences -> General -> Update Now, restart browser and try again.
-
That's the official release. We just made a mistake with the version number on Zotero Standalone. I believe that error comes from Better Bibtex add-on, see https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/50345/you-are-on-a-custom-zotero-build-zotero-4027source…

Are you able to submit a report ID after attempting to use those shortcuts? https://www.zotero.org/support/reporting_problems#provide_a_report_id What do you have set under Preferences -> Export -> Quick Copy ?

I think this was fixed a few hours ago by Simon https://github.com/zotero/zotero/commit/43e1c5c123fa9a2303d51c20bebe8ff8b1327c3e Dan will probably release an updated Zotero version with a few other fixes some time soon.

I was able to reproduce the issue with theconversation.com and Simon actually fixed that a few hours ago https://github.com/zotero/zotero/commit/43e1c5c123fa9a2303d51c20bebe8ff8b1327c3e but the error did not manifest the same way as described above.…
