Are you using "Morar (2012)" because it forms part of a sentence? E.g. "Morar(2012) concluded that..."? If so, see https://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_usage#suppress_authorsusing_authors_in_the_text

The attachment part should be solved in the next Zotero release. This is a general issue when using a proxy with connectors (i.e. Chrome, Safari, Opera)
-
You have to manually change it (by editing the citation and selecting suppress author). For unrelated questions though, please start a new thread.

I have tried making the change to google scholar settings to "show links to import citations into BibTex" - however, despite enabling cookies, the setting defaults back to "Don't show any citation import links". So there is no "Import into bibTex" l…

Sorry, I hadn't push the update. It should be live now. Hopefully I didn't waste your time.

Run through these: https://www.zotero.org/support/troubleshooting_translator_issues It's working ok on my end. There was a recent update to the translator though, so maybe you're not up to date. (that's one of the steps on the linked page)

Zotero can easily handle Unicode, so that will not be an issue (as long as your pages indicate the appropriate encoding). For exposing metadata that Zotero can recognize without a dedicated translator, see https://www.zotero.org/support/dev/exposin…

I'm not sure how this would work out in the interface. Where would the description appear? Edit: also, how would it be entered?
-
Try updating one more time and check if it fixes anything. If no, then could you go into Google Scholar settings (down arrow at the top right corner of search results -> Settings) and at the bottom select "Show links to import citations into" "Bi…

There is no translator for the site, but they do use RDFa to serve metadata, which we've been thinking about supporting for a long time. Maybe it's time that we do.

Could you submit a debug log starting with clicking this link and then clicking the URL bar icon?
-
Yes, you want to download Zotero Standalone. https://www.zotero.org/download/

I can see them in my personal library as we speak (and open them) but when I check the online version they are absent. The entries on zotero.org list them as attachments but don't actually provide a link to them.I see. Not sure about Dan, but my un…

OK, sounds good. Let me know when you add the hook.

Could you also check how many folders (don't include subfolders) you have in the "storage" folder inside your Zotero data directory (both in your backup of the old Zotero data directory and the one you are currently using)?
-
It would still be best to preserve the transliteration taken from the original metadata source, since it will be more likely to succeed when used in an openSearch query.Precisely, which is why I suggest doing this in citeproc. We should be able to s…

Yes, so it seems. I have not yet found a journal that includes ligatures. I suggest that we simply strip out ligatures (and do other conversions as noted on Twitter) when citing Russian sources if Frank is ok with this.
-
Here's some info about this from CMoS: Journals of Slavic studies generally prefer a “linguistic” system that makes free use of diacritics and ligatures. In works intended for a general audience, however, diacritics and ligatures should be avoided. …

As far as I know I've never received any emails telling my storage quota is filledThis would have showed up in the Zotero client (not via email), but it's possible that you didn't notice it. Are you getting any sync errors? (look for a red exclamat…

Any idea how that part could have gotten messed up? Did you do something weird with the references there? If you don't mind, could you send the broken document to support@zotero.org to see if we can fix the underlying issue (it will only be shared a…

Have you tried copying parts of your existing document to a new document to see when you can reproduce the error (if at all) in the new document? It's likely that some reference got messed up and is causing this error. Copying chunks of the document…

That error is benign. Could you step back and explain the issue and what software you are using? (browser, Zotero versions, operating system) Are you using a proxy?
-
Have you tried using OVID's EndNote export format?

Google Scholar translator _should_ now be able to support "0-" proxies (though I have no way of testing it). Update your translators in Zotero Standalone via Preferences -> General -> Update Now, restart Chrome and try again.
-
I marked it as compatible with Safari. You can update your translators in Zotero Standalone via Preferences -> General -> Update Now. Restart Safari and try again. Thanks for reporting!

The first issue disappeared on its own, but while it was there, the translator was picking up some items from "related articles" section and detecting the page as "multiple". I tightened up the xpaths a bit, so that shouldn't happen again. The seco…

I may delete the copy of my data directory that I'm trying to use and reinstall it just to start fresh (I've a copy in my admin user). Is there any particular protocol for doing this?Unless you did something weird after copying it the first time, th…

The only other thought was that my data allotment filled up and my personal library was axed without my knowledge. Could that have happened?Yes, but you could check this online and it would have given you a sync warning. Also, this would have preven…

This will be fixed in the next Zotero release https://github.com/zotero/zotero/issues/514

Dan will take a look at the Error Report, but you'll probably want to explain in detail what you did to "custom link" your original Zotero library.
