One modification to summons that would make a native translator feasible, is if clicking on an item in the list (not on the title link, which takes you to a different page entirely) would make the pane that pops out from the right stick. Right now, …

Yes, we understand that this is not a convenient workflow and we would like to fix the issue (if that's technically possible). For posterity, could you indicate here what options you have selected in Document Preferences? Also, which document forma…

Though generally, for javascript-based page loading, see https://www.zotero.org/support/dev/exposing_metadata#force_zotero_to_refresh_metadata

You're right. This will be fixed shortly: https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/pull/1039 Will let you know when you can update your styles (via Preferences -> General -> Update Now)

Please start a new thread for your issue. Feel free to write in your native language. When I was working with pdfs suddenly they became with the Modzilla logo.I'm not sure I understand what you mean here. What do you mean "with Mozilla logo"? In th…

Btw, did you enter this manually, or did you import the data from somewhere?
-
Yes, this is good. The issue is with how the authors are entered in Zotero. You either entered the whole name in the Last Name field or you're entering them in single field mode (which is meant for institutional authors, like "National Institute of …

Also, Dan, what's the error in the report. It can't be the same one.

Better yet, can you right-click the page, select Save As..., choose "Web Page, Complete". This will create an HTML file and a folder of other files. Please ZIP all of this up and email to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread.

I tried to reset the data on the server with "Restore to Zotero Server" and "Reset File Sync History", but it didn't help. As the message above those options states, these are meant for troubleshooting some rare cases. Please don't use these options…

Hmm, I managed to get the new design to appear once, but now it's gone again. It's possible that we will fail to scrape some of the metadata from the page with the new design.

Are you using a proxy? Try disabling any security software that you may have. Zotero Standalone is open when you're trying to import, right?
-
Should be fixed now. Update your translators via Preferences -> General -> Update Now and try again. Out of curiosity, for the last link you posted, right under where it says "Shop by Department", does it not say "Books" for you?

Unfortunately, nothing up-to-date exists.

Not sure. probably a couple weeks or so.

There should be a way to choose another program. You can also open WordPad first and then drag and drop the file into it. Or in WordPad select Open and then choose "all files" where it shows you file extensions.
-
You can uncheck both boxes on export. Once exported, right click the file and "Open with" -> WordPad. You can also just upload the file to Dropbox or something similar and share the link here.
-
Regarding author names, can you take the reference that is displaying incorrectly, right-click it in Zotero, select Export, choose Zotero RDF, open the file in a text editor and copy-paste it to http://gist.github.com, then post the link here.

But what you say is confusing. "nothing is showing up in my library on the desktop when I log into Zotero". You do not need to log in to see your library in the desktop application (if you're using Firefox, click the Zotero icon next to the URL bar.…

Zotero Connectors (Chrome, Safari, Opera) do not work well when downloading PDFs over a proxy (focus.lib.kth.se part of your URL). This is probably going to be fixed in the next Zotero release though.

Short answer is that we don't recognize URLs exposed as DC.identifier. I haven't seen this used that much, so I'm not sure that we should. There are a number of other ways to indicate a persistent URL that we do recognize, but I'll see what we can d…

Though that's not normal behavior (to lose styles, that is) and you may be experiencing other issues. Is your Zotero data directory in its default location? (Check under Preferences -> Advanced -> Files and Folders)

Have you tried ZotFile? http://zotfile.com/ This tutorial looks pretty good http://www.hks.harvard.edu/library/zotero/tablets.htm I've used it myself with Dropbox, DropSync (android app), and Adobe Reader (on android) with very decent results. You …

In terms of overriding the sorting, I don't believe there is an easy way. (There's a pretty messy workaround that involves creating a custom style) Interestingly, this is the second time someone has brought this up in the past few weeks, so perhaps …

What browser are you using? What's the URL for the page where you're importing from?

Is the document written in Danish? If that's the case and your bibliography appears in Danish as well (e.g. using Danish words for things like "in", "editor", "accessed") then I _think_ you may want to install an updated version of the citation proc…

Just in case you missed it, make sure to also restore the "storage" directory.
-
Yeah, it's a known issue that we haven't figured out how to solve yet. You can use placeholders from the RTF/ODF Scan add-on to keep plain text references in text that can be unambiguously recognized by Zotero later. They don't look pretty though. …
