This is a known issue with Unicode character composition (and Open WorldCat - the service we use for ISBN look-ups - uses a less common composition form). Unfortunately, there is no good solution to this problem at the moment. It will likely get fix…

Wow, what a mess. (The last one is your best bet, though it's BibTeX formatted in HTML with tons of HTML errors). Take the last file and open it in a text editor that can do search and replace (e.g. Notepad++, EditPad, etc.). Search for &#0…

If it's possible, then Zotero will just import it (generally, if EndNote can import, so can Zotero). If it's possible, but it needs some modifications, then we'll need to see the file contents (our at least a reasonable portion).
-
Zotero doesn't care about extensions, but the first one should definitely import. If you don't mind sharing, you can post it on Dropbox or similar and we can take a look.
-
The first one is BibTeX and should import straight into Zotero

So now I have already a file formatted for Biblioscape import in an Endnote format. What format is that exactly? (e.g. file extension, or you could post a small part of its contents)

While onedayonenoodle sort of hints at this, the major point of hierarchical tags is not for you to see the parent tags when looking at an item, it's to be able to search by the parent tag and pull up the item with a more detailed (child) tag.

Is this in a group library or in My Library? (seems like My Library, but please confirm). Also, please make it clear where you are unable to create subcollections (online on zotero.org only? in Firefox? in Standalone?). Sounds like you're doing all …

tengo un mozilla firefox 3.16Creo que eso es un error. La versión actual de Firefox es 31.0. Cuando digas "descargue los complementos", hablas sobre esos: https://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_installation ?

Please see https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/wiki/Requesting-Styles There might be something close (or identical), you can try the "Search by example" feature on this site: http://editor.citationstyles.org/about/

It's not really possible atm, because we do not apply any special style to in-text citations, though we probably could. Wouldn't hold my breath though. This will take a while if it will happen at all.

Try adding somewhere around line 363 (edit: depending on the logic you want)

Does this mean that it would be impossible to capture the book size as well as the pagination?I don't think we will be capturing that information (the book size that is) at this time. Is there any need for book size when it comes to citations (given…

Given the above and if you really really really want to avoid using web storage to transfer your files, there are ways to create an FTP or Samba server on your android phone/tablet (e.g. I use FileExpert, but there are plenty of other options), whic…

@fbennett, this is the reason I suspect ZotFile is getting confused. Android doesn't exactly mount itself as a separate disk. It's connecting via MTP or PTP protocol, which at least in File Explorer on Windows gives you paths like Computer\device-na…

I then go to the tablet, and choose a target folder. But nothing happens. The folder path does not show up in the "Base Folder" box on ZotFile, the "Show Folder" button does nothing, and there is a red exclamation-point warning next to it. When I cl…

To answer my own question regarding 12⁰ http://comments.gmane.org/gmane.education.libraries.autocat/57223 and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Book_size (i.e. physical size of the book) In any case, Zotero does not store physical book dimensions, so th…

Is [2],95,[1]p supposed to mean that there is a two page preface/foreward, the main content is 95 pages and the afterword/appendix is 1 page? What is the meaning of 12⁰?

Try the Zotero Beta in Firefox https://www.zotero.org/support/dev_builds#zotero_40_beta I believe Dan fixed this recently. You can revert to regular release at any time.

Thanks! That's what I had in mind. And yes, I would definitely recommend adding references from publisher websites over anything else (especially if you intend on reading them)

Oops, sorry for misinformation

Basically, if you go to http://127.0.0.1:23119/connector/ping in your browser, you should see "Endpoint does not support method" and (assuming you're on windows) pasting the following in the RUN dialog (Win + R) cmd /C "netstat -a -n -o | find "2311…

Are you using the correct style? https://www.zotero.org/styles?q=Journal of Neurotrauma lists all authors. Try updating it from the website.

Eso está en el texto o en la bibliografía? Si en el texto, use otro estilo ("author-date", no "numeric"). Escoge un estilo apropiado por tu revista. https://www.zotero.org/styles

The best way would be to find the references online and import via URL bar icon (this could be easy if they have hyperlinked DOIs for instance, and less easy by just copy pasting titles into Google search). Alternatively, if the citations contain D…

Try https://www.zotero.org/styles?q=international journal of geriatric psychiatry or https://www.zotero.org/styles?q=Population, Space and Place which are close. Adding this particular style will probably take a week or so.

Could you save the new design anyway (even if it is working atm) and email it as per above?

And if you want to _move_ the references and not "copy" (though it doesn't actually create a separate copy, just adds the same reference to a different collection), you can press Shift while dragging.
