What do you mean you "can't see the attachments"? Do you not see them listed under the items that are supposed to have them, or can you not open them?
-
It's not a dumb question (no such thing, right?). You can mix regular Word footnotes and Zotero footnotes. Nothing will get confused.

http://aurimasv.github.io/z2csl/typeMap.xml The Zotero part is obviously not relevant to you, but the CSL half is the same across all reference managers.

Given the style in your gist this should already be displaying access date for websites if the URL is filled in. See https://gist.github.com/anonymous/2ae0dbcb210379a39083#file-xxx-dt-springer-vancouver-author-date-v5-csl-L299 which points to "date"…

FWIW, I'm not able to reproduce this either on Windows 7 (Zotero Standalone or in Firefox). Just in case, can you copy paste the whole content of the note to https://gist.github.com and post it as gist, then link to it here. It's possible that Jooml…

I'm actually having trouble finding much inspiration in other software. AFAICT we're being the most obvious about the pane being hidden and available for expansion. Not a lot of software allows you to collapse panes, but, for instance, MS PowerPoint…

For (b) you just need to format it the way you did in (a). I'd use "\\s" for regexp though. replacement should be ""
-
Try using "exec" instead of "replace" on field "date" (I'm not sure if "year" is available for user defined functions). Use "\\b\\d{2}(\\d{2})\\b" as regexp and group: "1". You don't need the "g" flag, nor does it make sense for "exec" in this case.

Currently, there's an almost lossless way to do this by exporting your data as Zotero RDF. The one thing you would lose is any link between the items you export (and later re-import) and the documents you inserted those references into. When you re-…

We'll post back here (though note that you will only receive one email update from zotero.org unless you come and view the message on the website). I'm not sure if a cookie preference will actually happen, but we'll come up with something.

Maybe making the border thicker once collapsed would make it stand out more. Also the arrows could then be bigger and more pronounced. Or maybe use double/triple arrows.
-
http://aurimasv.github.io/z2csl/typeMap.xml It's not currently used in Zotero. No ETA on when this might get implemented. I can't find that much discussion on it, so it may not be any time soon, but someone else probably knows better.

https://www.zotero.org/support/reporting_problems#provide_steps_to_reproduce We'd need more specific details, including URLs and ISBNs you're trying.

Thanks for reporting! Update your translators via preferences -> General -> Update Now and try again.

What's the exact message you are getting? Dan will take a look at the error report, but it doesn't always include the same error that you're seeing.

Will the push protocol make possible one way synchronization? (Only having items added from zotero.org to my local zotero but nothing the other way around?)Probably no. Though I don't have definitive answers to anything related to new sync architect…

Not without potentially breaking a lot of other stuff. https://github.com/zotero/zotero-connectors/blob/master/src/common/zotero.js#L32 I don't think there's going to be much interest in making this work in select browsers implicitly, but I can may…

It's been disabled because Chrome (and presumably other browsers) block http connections from https pages and the bookmarklet iframe is always served over https from zotero.org. The only case where this is not disabled is IE, since we reasoned that …

Close Firefox/Zotero Standalone. Find /locate/engines.json. Open it in a text editor. Insert the following immediately after the opening bracket [ { "name": "Google Search", "alias": "Google", "_urlTemplate": "https://www.google.com/#q={z:ti…

Try using your email address as your username.

Also, if you're not aware, you can use color tags to mark items. http://zotero-manual.github.io/zotero-manual/tags#colored-tags

You may have a note entered on a PDF attachment. Select the attachment and see the right hand pane.

Can you provide the exact query you are using and the items you are trying to import? I'm not able to reproduce this.

This is an intentional omission to discourage users from creating website items manually. Try creating such items by right-clicking the page you want to cite in your browser. The option will likely make a comeback in the future with a warning to the…

Not sure about 1, but yes for 2

I've noticed that adding PDFs to my library does occasionally take some time with Zotero being unresponsive (not 30 seconds for a single PDF, but still annoyingly long ~5 seconds). Here's some debug log showing a couple significant delays in databas…

Should be fixed now. Update your translators via Preferences -> General -> Update Now, refresh the page and try again. Thank you for reporting!

What's described above I think is more complicated approach with no additional benefit than just placing your Zotero data directory inside a Dropbox folder that _IS NOT_ shared between other computers. If you're never going to use the same Zotero da…
