Could it be note and abstract?
-
Even if we have a DB of journals with per-issue pagination, it's bound to be non-exhaustive, which means that there will still need to be a way to toggle this. I still stand by my original statement that the rule should be ignored by default (sucks…
-
Another way to do it is simply not follow the rule, as we do now, and have the standards adapt to popular usage. Is there a CSL variable that we could utilize for this toggle? (e.g. scale or version) Then, if someone really wants to go through the …

The real solution here is to complain to APA maintainers until they come to their senses and develop a more usable rule for citations. Including the issue number takes 2 extra characters at most (well, a couple more for formatting), causes no loss o…

Regarding Ctrl+Shift+S, you shouldn't need to open Zotero first. This might vary to some extent based on where your cursor is positioned and what other extensions you have installed (something that might use the same shortcut for some action). I di…
-
Since it's just the bibliography, can you simply remove that section and re-insert it? It is auto-populated anyway, so you shouldn't be losing anything.
-
I press control+shift+S on amazon.in page, but nothing happens.Could you provide an exact URL from amazon.in that doesn't work? It's possible that amazon.in is not supported in general (Amazon tends to be a bit finicky). Try saving from http://www.w…

Should be fixed now. Update your translators via Zotero Preferences -> General -> Update Now. Restart your browser and give it another go. Thanks for reporting!
-
We just figured out that Snapshots were broken in the recent version of Zotero, which is why the images were not loading. This should be fixed in Zotero 4.0.26.1, which is available now for Firefox. A Standalone release with the fix is coming soon. …

Should be updated now (along with the changes discussed in the other thread). Update your translators via Preferences -> General -> Update Now. Thanks for reporting!

yup https://github.com/zotero/zotero/issues/245
-
No, it's unlikely to have been caused by the language change. Can you run through https://www.zotero.org/support/troubleshooting_translator_issues and answer adamsmith's questions above?
-
Just to be clear, this happens with _all_ linked PDFs? What's the message that you get when trying to retrieve metadata for those files? Can you produce a Debug ID for this action? https://www.zotero.org/support/debug_output
-
Not possible at this point, sorry.
-
Seems to have been fixed. Can someone who was experiencing the issue confirm this?
-
Perhaps we should improve PDF download progress indicator to display total PDF size if available and provide a mechanism to cancel the download. This is obviously a very extreme example, but we've seen other cases where PDFs could be 100MB or so
-
As adamsmith explains, if you click on the Zotero item in the center pane, you will see the URL in the URL field in the right-hand pane. You can click the "URL" label to open it. Additionally, if you have a file, Snapshot, or link attachment on the…

I assume you've tried restarting Zotero as well as your computer. Can you submit an error report? https://www.zotero.org/support/reporting_problems#provide_a_report_id Also, submit a Debug log for an attempt to expand the collections (i.e. clicking…
-
Do you see Trash displayed in that pane?
-
We're thinking of how to make the collapsed panes more obvious. Simple things like this should really not require documentation. See https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/46734/editing-items-and-inputting-item-data/
-
No one said random. All of the subdirectories could have incorrect permission, or maybe just folders created at a certain time.

See https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/changes_not_syncing

We added support for Polaris. You can update your translators via Preferences -> General -> Update Now, restart your browser, and give it a go. Let us know if you run into any issues.
-
Run through https://www.zotero.org/support/troubleshooting_translator_issues but it's probably #10.I
-
Though it's probably worth trying to at least disable your security software. Other than that, as adamsmith says, troubleshooting this issue is probably beyond what we can do here.
-
Your Zotero is out of date. The current version is 4.0.26
-
Though, if I understood correctly (and after re-reading this, I may not have), it seems that the files are not accessible on the server, not on the local client.
-
Reset File Sync History again, but this time provide a Debug ID for the first manual sync attempt https://www.zotero.org/support/debug_output
-
Try using Preferences -> Sync -> Reset -> Reset File Sync History (make sure not to use any of the other options there!!!) then perform a manual sync (click the sync arrow) and let it finish.
-
In Zotero Preferences -> Sync do you have attachment upload configured to go to Zotero (not WebDAV)? Is it enabled? In your Zotero client (not on zotero.org), are you able to open the said attachments?
