You must be running Zotero Beta. The new button layout is a bit experimental, so thanks for the feedback. I don't think removal of that button is set in stone yet, but Dan will probably comment on his decision.

Do you mean that you click the URL bar icon and Zotero imports books from Amazon as web pages? E.g. http://www.amazon.com/The-Wealth-Nations-Adam-Smith/dp/1604598913 If above doesn't work properly, also test here: http://www.worldcat.org/title/inqu…

Looks like we were missing some pages. Should be working now. Please try again.
-
Should be working now. Update your translators via Preferences -> General -> Update Now, restart browser, and try again. Let us know if something isn't right. Thanks for reporting!

Harvard is a pretty general description that usually just refers to author-date styles. If that's the only requirement, then you can use Chicago Manual of Style (author-date), which is generally a pretty comprehensive style. There's also https://www…

It should and typically does. Something on your system (or you) may have disabled auto-updates or you may be having some sort of issue with add-on updates in general. If you can update via about:addons then make sure that auto-updates are on.
-
Which style? Not all styles support internationalization. Try Chicago Manual of Style, for instance. That one should work as expected.

I think BMJ used to be supported, but seems to have updated their website. Zotero is now only recognizing the DOI on the page, which never attaches PDFs (you can see the translator that's being used by hovering over Zotero URL bar icon. It should sa…

When i export the record from endnoteweb in Ris format for importing it in zotero, both data are missing : "CY" is mentionned in a note and M3 simply disappears...There's not much I can say about EndNote's import/export. RIS is a format that they de…

Sorry about that. M3 was getting discarded as an invalid DOI. That should be fixed now and you should be getting a note attachment. Update your translators via Preferences -> General -> Update Now
-
I'm sorry to say, but I don't think we will be importing M3 for journal articles (it is imported for other types of items, which have an appropriate Zotero field for it). The hidden preference I describe above I think is your best bet for keeping th…

:-/ Following adamsmith's steps in Word 2010 on Windows 7 actually freezes both Zotero and Word if you click Refresh _twice_ (nothing happens after first click).

I don't have an ETA. It's on the list, just not sure how far up.

Currently populating ISSN fields will not help, but we'll implement that in the near future (I hope). In any case, more complete metadata is always better than less complete, so I would certainly encourage you to populate those fields if possible. …

It would be helpful to know where you found the sqlite files, what size they are, and what their modification timestamps are.
-
No way to correct this currently. I also don't see this as such a critical error. It's not like Zotero automatically merges duplicates, it just displays them in the duplicate special collection. Yes, it's annoying that you have to ignore this false …

If you have a local library that you are happy with and want to simply upload it to zotero.org "nuking" everything that's currently on the server, go to Preferences -> Sync -> Reset -> Restore to Zotero Server

Also, FYI, it seems that it's not very safe to post OVID links with session IDs in them (S=.....), since I am now logged into OVID using your UoA account. It's good for troubleshooting in this case, but you should probably remove the link from your …

I can reproduce the OVID issue and am looking into it. Looks like they changed the way they serve RIS exports.
-
Though there are ways to completely clear your online library. I'm not clear on whether you want to clear the online library and keep a local copy (that you are then planning to restore?) or you want to clear your library of everything everywhere.
-
Could you post a relevant OVID entry in the tagged format?
-
Can you post a sample RIS entry (starting with TY and ending with ER) that fails to import M3 field? Also, what software is this RIS file coming from? To never discard any data that Zotero cannot map, you can toggle the RIS.import.ignoreUnknown hid…
-
Dan, can you check the Error Report?
-
What's the issue you're experiencing?
-
It's probably just collapsed on the right. Drag it out with your mouse
-
When you click on My Library, it shows all documents inthat library, including any documents assigned to collections. If you had items inside a collection and you deleted that collection (but not the items inside), those items would remain in your …

Actually, looks like it wasn't working then either

I'm looking into this. We did add IE support for PubMed some time ago and it was working then. I have no additional info right now though.

Please provide the exact url

yeah, it's note and annotation. Note comes first. (btw, it's Anteckning... that took a while to spot) I actually had to look up what annotation even means in Zotero context, which is the old web page annotation feature that was removed in Zotero 4.…
