I can confirm. We'll investigate. Thank you for reporting.

Ok. I'm not against this, but as I said above, this probably wouldn't be the default option, since reader view is a "best effort" cleanup and may remove critical content. We'll see how Zotero can take advantage of it (I haven't played with it much).…

Ok, but I'm still not entirely clear on what you want Zotero to do with the reader view.
-
Are you referring to using the reader view for saving a snapshot attachment? I doubt that it would be possible to support metadata import from reader view (it might just work as is for some pages though). I also don't think that reader view would re…

However, this function no longer seems to workHow exactly is it not working? What specifically are you trying to do and what happens as a result? (include URLs, error messages, etc.)

This is on the Zotero side. See https://github.com/zotero/zotero/pull/757 Note that CSL JSON export from translators is still not 100% reflective of what's actually being sent to citeproc. We need to bump the minVersion for the translator to 4.0.27…

@jnmurphy this should be fixed now. Can you update your translators via Preferences -> General -> Update Now, restart browser, and try again? Let us know if this is still not working.
-
This may fix itself if we correct the target regexp to not match the proxy. (Though we should also use relative URL)

I mean, they're not wrong about RIS being a terrible and outdated format. Whatever replacement they're offering right now, though, is probably 3 steps back. I wish we would see more services moving towards a more modern/sophisticated format, but I c…

Wikipedia is not an uncommon website to just have open while writing, so if people are using QuickCopy for something else, this would cause some confusing behavior, since they never enabled this site-specific setting. It's not a bad idea, but it wou…

Actually, we were able to patch this up in the translator, so update your translators as per above and try again. Let us know if it's still not fixed.

OK, I can confirm. This does appear to be a bug in Zotero. Unfortunately, it will require an update to the Safari plugin, which will take longer to release.

But looking at this closer, Chrome is actually picking up the COinS metadata from the page for me, so I'm not entirely clear on how you're trying to import. Are you using the URL bar icon when on http://opencontext.org/projects/81204AF8-127C-4686-E9…

Sorry about that. I think I fixed it, so please update your translators via Preferences -> General -> Update Now, restart browser, and try again. But if I'm right, then there's potentially another issue. When you scroll your mouse over the fo…

Like I said, we don't currently scrape data from DataCite, so, besides alerting the user that metadata could not be retrieved, there's nothing that we can do at this point. The metadata is not available on CrossRef, which is where all of the DOI inf…

That DOI is registered with DataCite and we don't currently scrape metadata from them. http://doi.crossref.org/doiRA?doi=10.6078/M7PC3083

Based on their ToS and this looks like we're out of luck for now. We can probably come up with some non-API based scraping though. In the long run, it may be worth thinking about a way to allow users to easily register their accounts with various A…

OK, that looks right. Zotero Standalone and Zotero in Firefox under the EstherZot should act as independent libraries. You can try adding a new item to one of the libraries, sync, and note that the item will not sync to the other library. I suspect…
-
Dan, can you see if EstherKM library was synced with Larisa's account? "This Zotero database was last synced with a different zotero.org account ('[...]@gmail.com') from the current one ('EstherKM'). If you continue, local groups, including any with…

Make sure your file syncing is enabled https://www.zotero.org/support/preferences/sync If it is, see #4 here https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/files_not_syncing

But also, you should be getting a dialog box asking you to confirm that action. Simply clicking the button should not do any permanent damage. Is that not what you're experiencing?

You can either pick any directory you want on your computer (e.g. create a new directory in your documents folder or on the desktop) or choose "use profile directory"

However, it seems to have synced to my account instead. How do I un-sync my account from firefox, and is it possible to do what I want to do?I'm assuming that by "sync" here you mean that you're Zotero Standalone and Zotero in Firefox are showing th…

You're speaking with the developers right now (Dan is the lead developer of Zotero). See what Dan has posted above, but basically I have back-up of Zotero before I spent 2 days of work on organizing my papers. But not after that.If you did back up y…

Could you describe in more detail which "autocomplete" function you are referring to?
-
Also, where exactly is this:oddly the list is alphabetized in WordI'm not aware of any place in the Zotero Word integration to select item types.
-
Are you using Zotero in a non-English language? The list is alphebetized in the English UI.

The public group may not have library editing permission enabled for all members. https://www.zotero.org/support/groups#group_settings
