Now I want to sync them but there is a complication. What exactly do you mean by this? You're getting errors? This may help: http://www.zotero.org/support/kb/changes_not_syncing

for both of the attachments that I looked at, there were three conflicted copies shown, one of which had an earlier date and two of which had the same date The conflict resolution screen displays two items: local (the copy on your computer) and remo…

I think what Dan is asking is when you go to resolve the conflicts, what kind of differences are there between local and remote copies? (E.g. different date modified) He may be able to tell from the Debug report, not sure.

That is a known issue with no fix at the moment: https://github.com/zotero/zotero/issues/419 Thanks for letting us know though.
-
Stab in the dark (Dan will have to take a look at the Error Report), but is your system clock set correctly?
-
Oh. In that case, if something didn't import correctly, feel free to post the RIS entry so we can fix it (if possible).
-
I guess Frank has that one built into MLZ. We should probably do the same.

Sample URL (or at least a link to the catalog)?

"Last but not least!" (for now) -- it seems that some (not all) of my ProCite records came in with this occasional error: the editor of the edited volume appears a co-author of a given chapter when that is not true. For now I don't mind just tidying…

FWIW, those are 5 different institutional authors: American Heart Association Council on Quality of Care and Outcomes Research Emergency Cardiovascular Care Committee Council on Cardiopulmonary, Critical Care, Perioperative and Resuscitation Cou…

Actually, at least on Windows, the highlighting is not really working. The name of the collection disappears instead of getting highlighted. And yes, the "highlighting" does take some time to appear in some cases (one way I can reproduce is: first …

You could insert some unique characters in the places where you need a hard return and then search-replace them as a final editing step.
-
So from what I gather, the only problem is that the bibliography remains after switching to an Footnote/Endnote style? (I don't have a way to listen to the screencast atm, so if there were some other issues you mentioned, do let us know) So we shou…

Not currently. Definitely in the future.

Idk how willing Dan will be to debug this with such an old version of Zotero, but if he is, he may want to see Debug IDs for: Initial sync that triggers the conflict resolution: Turn off automatic syncing in Preferences -> Sync. Restart Zotero. T…

When I open Standalone 3.0.8.1 That version is over a year old. Please update to the latest version and try again. https://www.zotero.org/download/ Edit: err... over a year.

Please start a new thread if you have further questions:From which website you suggest me to download extension xpi(for WORD use)?If you're using Firefox, see http://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_installation For Standalone, go to Pre…

Not sure why this was explicitly made into yyyy-mm-dd, but you can change it locally. Take a look at the first two steps here: http://www.zotero.org/support/dev/citation_styles/style_editing_step-by-step#manually_editing_csl_styles so you know how t…

You can generate citations (in a limited number of styles) for any of the items you have synced to your online account at zotero.org. Go to My Library (link at the top of the page), select one or more items, and click the cite button (top right, mid…
-
Is this also the case in empty documents (i.e. open a new document and try to insert a citation)? How many items do you have in your library? At exactly what point when you are trying to insert a reference is Zotero being slow? Or is it slow for all…

Drag and drop should work, but please start a new thread for further questions on this topic and explain exactly what's not working.

download the Zotero client from http://www.zotero.org/download/

Your best bet is to find an older version of the zotero.sqlite file. It's practically impossible for Zotero to just lose it. Any chance you had your Zotero data directory inside Dropbox or something similar?
-
Go through the applicable steps here: http://www.zotero.org/support/troubleshooting_translator_issues (particularly all the info on step 12) PDF will not automatically download for that last link you posted. Zotero is recognizing that page based on…

Ooops. Forgot about this thread. Sorry gurdas. And thanks adamsmith!

Well, you should certainly be able to delete the PDFs without deleting the Zotero Item associated with them. If you select just the PDF and press delete or right-click and choose Move to Trash, does that not work? It just puzzles me why you would w…

[JavaScript Error: "ZU.xpath(...)[0] is undefined" {file: "/Users/Blaine1/Library/Application Support/Firefox/Profiles/1c446gf0.default/zotero/translators/Amazon.com.js" line: 155}] Frank will have to take a look at that. That error doesn't match up…

FWIW current Firefox version is 26.0 and all of the links you posted work with official Zotero (MLZ is a fork of Zotero maintained by Frank Bennett). Try updating your translators via Preferences -> General -> Update Now. If that doesn't work…
-
The reason you get "too long" errors is because the online database has limited space for certain fields (this is not the case for local data). So the only time you would get that error is when you're trying to _upload_ the offending item. Check you…

How many zotero.sqlite.* (e.g. zotero.sqlite.bak) files do you see? What are their actual file names, modified dates, and file sizes?
