can you right-click the PDF link, copy link address and paste it here?
-
Update your translators via Preferences -> General -> Update Now, reload the page, and try again.

Short answer is that there's something broken about the "Rock art at Ben Faraday near Maclear, Eastern Cape, South Africa. Group 1" entry. If you open that entry and try to Export -> "Direct Export in RIS Format", you get an error. So you may wa…
-
one of the reasons why this is not really an option is because you should rarely need to import RIS/BibTeX/etc. files. If you want to start a thread for a website that is not working, we can probably fix it. Edit: if you do start a thread, please i…

Zotero RDF is probably the best choice in this case. The only downside to export -> import is that the imported items are treated as completely different items, so they will not work if you want to share a document with your colleague (use Groups…
-
It's probably not going to be fixed any time soon (I don't think anyone's working on it), but thankfully there is a fairly trivial workaround.
-
As I said above, it's the same problem as reported before. You just can't switch directly from Endnotes to a numeric/author-date style. You have to switch to footnotes first, then to the other style. Edit: the damage is also not permanent. Everythi…

What citation style are you using? Are you inserting the second reference from the "Cited" section of the dropdown list?
-
OK, so I'm not sure how this happened, but here's my take on this. You were originally entering citations using "Chicago Manual of Style (full note)" and that's what the footnotes look like. However, the document I received has "Chicago Manual of St…
-
Nvm the above. Looks like I can reproduce what you're seeing. Still looking into it though.
-
OK. We'll see if we can reproduce it with the document you're emailing. Last two questions/comments: You don't have "Zotero Processor Gadget" listed under your Firefox Add-ons, do you? One last thing that you could try is reinstalling the style …
-
Can you share that new document you created? Either through Dropbox (or something similar) or email it to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread. Also, in Firefox, if you go to Firefox Menu -> Add-ons, what version is your Zotero Word for…
-
i tried switiching documents and it seemed ok for one citation, then it revertedSo once you added the second citation, it started messing them up?
-
So we're talking about Chicago Manual of Style (full-note) style? Are you sure you don't have that citation in the paper already? What version of Zotero do you have? Is this MS Word or LibreOffice? What version? Can you reproduce this behavior in a…
-
then regardless of what i do, it starts turning full citations deep in the paper into abbreviated ones What exactly does this mean? if i hit "force quit" it says there is a zotero integration error At what point are you hitting "force quit"? Are you…

we’ve had difficulty getting the grouped references to show up on each other’s profiles That sounds like a sync issue. Are all computers syncing successfully? Is there a red or yellow exclamation mark next to the circular green sync arrow at the top…
-
Set your base directory on the other computer as well, then sync.

And if this is in fact not working, navigate to chrome://extensions/ in chrome, go to Zotero Connector Options. Under General -> Zotero Standalone, what does it say?
-
This is certainly not an outstanding issue in general (i.e. it works fine for me on Windows 7). What OS are you using? What version of Standalone? Is this in a personal or group library? Try submitting a Debug ID instead.
-
Correct
-
Sorry about that. It seems that I can reproduce this after all (it was masked by another "bug"). I believe this is fixed now. Update your translator via Preferences -> General -> Update Now and give it another shot. @Dan, currently, in order…
-
@Dan, could you take a look. I don't see anything weird in that log, but I'm not too keen on what this should look like for a collection export.
-
So are you using Zotero Standalone or Zotero for Firefox to retrieve metadata? If Standalone, do you also have Firefox? If yes, does retrieve metadata work through Firefox?
-
Are you using Zotero Standalone or Firefox? In either case, if you navigate to Google scholar, search for something, then try to export the citation as BibTeX (there should be a link next to "related citations" or something like that), do you get so…
-
You should just submit the log to Zotero server and post the Debug ID as per instructions in the linked page. There are no errors in that debug log, so I'm not quite sure what's going on, but maybe Dan can take a closer look and see if everything lo…
-
Hmmm, can't reproduce this. When you say Zotero is up to date, you mean it's 4.0.17.1 (or 4.0.17 for Zotero Standalone)? Also, update your translators via Preferences -> General -> Update Now If none of that helps, produce a Debug ID for th…

Can you expert collection as Zotero RDF? (Post it on gist.github.com and link to it if you can) This could happen if your collection contains only standalone notes and/or standalone attachments (PDFs). Is that maybe the case?
-
Looks like the error reported here: https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/32274/word-2013-zotero-lost-contact-with-bibliography/#Item_6 It only happens when switching from Endnotes to an author-date style. The idea is to first switch to Footnotes an…
