As the error suggests, Zotero doesn't have permissions to write in your folder, or some subfolders. You need to make sure Zotero (your user) /Users/pethe244/Zotero has permissions to read and write everything in that folder. It may not have permissi…

You posted on the Beta Connector thread but regardless of whether you're using the Beta Connector or not, your issue is related to Google rate-limiting you. It seems that your document has over 1800 citations (wow!) and Zotero Connector can only upd…

See Troubleshooting Errors in Word Processor Documents If that doesn't help, please explain in as much detail as possible what your setup is, what you're doing, what you're expecting to happen and what is happening. Provide a Debug ID.

[JavaScript Error: "Unix error 2 during operation open on file /Users/laura/Library/Application Support/Zotero/Profiles/oemhuwrr.default/session.json (No such file or directory)"] Seems like Zotero is unable to read its profile folder for some reas…

Please submit an error report and post the Report ID you receive here. The instructions for that are linked above. Have you tried restarting your Mac? Does it happen in a new document?
-
Could you submit a Report ID? What's the full version number of Word that you are using?
-
Sorry, this is a Word bug. If you are working with a document in OneDrive, either save it somewhere on your hard disk, or remove any spaces " " in the filename.
-
We are working on this feature right now and it's coming in a not-too-distant future.
-
You need to use the same word processor. See Existing Citations Not Detected for more details

What version of Java are you running? Can you try updating that? Make sure you change which version LibreOffice uses in LibreOffice Tools -> Options -> Advanced. If that doesn't help, see Troubleshooting Errors in Word Processor Documents
-
What version of LibreOffice are you running? The first thing to try is to switch to the newest stable version of LibreOffice.

As before, does it work fine in Edge? This seems identical to what you reported last time and my best guess as to what is happening is that Zotero tells Google Docs to update your document and Google Docs responds to Zotero that the update occurred …

What version of Word are you using (like 16.66)?

It's best to create new threads for these issues as they often sound similar, but are actually different. See https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/mac_word_permissions_missing

Please describe in full what the issue is and what you have tried.

Restart Zotero and Safari. Open a new Google Docs document. Attempt to cite. Please describe in full what happens. Do you get any popups, or windows. Produce a Debug ID from Zotero for this attempt to cite and post it here.
-
Thanks for these reports. We've fixed everything, but the issue you reported regarding the freezing popup. Do you still see that? If so, can you take a screenshot/video showing the bug, upload it somewhere and link it here?

See https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/moving_documents_between_word_processors

Restart Zotero and Chrome. Does it happen in a new document? If not, provide a Debug ID from Zotero for an attempt to cite in your existing document where you observe the progress bar freezing.
-
Copying and pasting citations in LibreOffice (when citing as Reference marks in an .odt document) unlinks the newly pasted citations. This is a limitation of LibreOffice.

@iagogv Zotero source code is open-source and available on github, including the Connector. The community can bundle and distribute old versions of the software as they wish (although the usual disclaimer for the Zotero trademark apply).

@iagogv The Chrome extension store will no longer allow to update MV2 extensions starting January 2023 and in June 2023 MV2 extensions will no longer appear in the store at all. Edge has a similar timeline for their store. We don't officially publis…

Thanks for the report. We have just pushed an update with fixes for these issues (and updated the link above). Please let us know if you find any other bugs.

If you disable the Connector does editing work? Where do you see the JS error? What are you doing in Google Calendar when that happens?
-
@adamsmith @bwiernik Looking through code, Word plugins will only insert citations into these sections of text: Body, Footnote, Endnote. LibreOffice also supports Text Frames and Table Cells. Testing with Win and Mac Word, I see that if you insert…

You will need to follow the Troubleshooting instructions linked above.

Are you working on a library/lab computer? Otherwise, have you tried restarting your computer and only opening Zotero and a single Word document? Does it work then?
