See https://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_troubleshooting#tab_does_not_appear_in_word_2016 Make sure the template is present and checked in Global Templates.

What's the full version number of Word that you are using? What citation style did you choose in Zotero? Presumably this is happening in a new document? If not, can you reproduce it in a new document?
-
Does it work well in a new document? Did you try restarting both Zotero and Google Docs? Are you sure the citation window isn't opening behind other windows? You find out by checking all open Zotero windows. If you're sure the citation window doesn'…

Did you submit this Report ID after having Word crash for you? What's the full version number of Word that you are running?
-
You can right-click the Zotero Connector icon and save with a different translator. Although their website does not expose any rich metada, so you likely won't be happy with the result. You can contact them if you rely heavily on their research, tel…

@Kai.jacobsen, @Kikila: Could you disable all extensions, then download and install the SingleFile for Safari extension and see whether you encounter this issue with it enabled?
-
Please explain the issue you are seeing in full detail. Does it happen in a new document? If not, did you try going through the troubleshooting steps? What happened at each step?

Does it work in a new document? Could you submit a Report ID?

Thanks for the report. I've created a ticket to track this. We'll post here when it is fixed.

As you have already found the debugging instructions, you should indeed follow them. If nothing helps, you should follow the last step, trying to find the smallest portion of the text that still produces this behavior of incremental expansion. You c…

Could you submit a Report ID from Zotero?
-
If this is a document with endnote citations, first switch to footnote citations, then attempt to switch the style. Otherwise see Troubleshooting Errors in Word Processor Documents

After restarting the browser, when using Zotero with Google Docs for the first time you will be prompted to choose a Google account. Make sure you choose the account that is the owner of the document you are editing.
-
See this page https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/citations_not_updating It doesn't exactly describe your issue, but the underlying problem is likely the same.
-
Thanks for the report. This will be fixed in the next Zotero release.
-
Once again, you should disable any extensions you have installed into Zotero, restart Zotero and see whether you can still reproduce the error.
-
@ctassaf_ut Try disabling any extensions that you have installed into Zotero and see if that fixes the freezing.

What is displaying this prompt? Word? Some security software you are running? Zotero.dotm is a template file that provides the UI for Zotero integration plugin and it doesn't do anything malicious, nor should it cause any issues with your computer, …

How did you "relink" citations. Troubleshooting Errors in Word Processor Documents would generally apply here.

Can you test this instead by removing Login URL Scheme in the preferences, such that only Proxied URL Scheme is present? Do not modify the Poxied URL Scheme. Are you sure you had this proxy setup with the Zotero Connector in the past and it worked w…

It's hard to say what's causing it. You could try enabling formatting marks and field code display in the document and see whether there are some 0 length fields there that for some reason get rendered as the date when exporting to PDF.

Yes. We don't really get requests about this feature. We may have looked to improve it in the past to detect better on more websites, but for the time being it seems like a wasted effort. There may be support for file download handling in extensions…
-
The support for this is not perfect, mostly because we expect the websites serving these files to use web standards and send a mime-type that corresponds to the file they are sending. If they send the files with text/plain mime-type, we do not and c…

What's the version number of Word that you are running? Could you submit a Report ID from Zotero?
-
Can you reproduce this in a new document? Which citation style are you using? If you have unlinked citations and the look normally before export, it's possible something else is causing the date to be added. Do you have any other plugins installed i…

@Mark2k2 could you submit a Report ID? @tomosoeoc If you go into Zotero Connector Preferences -> Proxies, select your university proxy, copy the Proxied URL Scheme, paste it into Login URL Scheme field, then restart your browser, do you still en…

It seems like in your existing document you have multiple instances of bibliographies. You should remove all bibliography fields from your document first, then see if citing is fixed and if it is, attempt to reinsert the bibliography again. This ma…

Could you produce a Debug ID from Zotero (not the Zotero Connector) for this operation?
-
Could you go into Zotero Connector Preferences -> Advanced -> Config Editor, copy the contents of the proxies.proxies field and send it to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread?
