You should provide the information requested in the final step of Troubleshooting Issues with Zotero Translators page.

Accessing websites behind proxies requires associated credentials. Browsers store them in cookies when you authenticate with a university proxy. While technically implementing support for RSS feeds behind custom proxies could be possible, it's an ex…

Which citation processor? Can you take a screenshot, upload it somewhere and post a link here which shows the issue? Does it happen in a new document?

MacOS is responsible for displaying a prompt about Zotero needing automation permissions for Word. If it is not, and you are not seeing a Zotero entry in Automation even on a new user account, it's likely there's some issue with your macOS installat…

You will only see this error for citations that contain non-latin or accented characters.

Did you see the instructions specific to your version of Word? https://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_troubleshooting#zotero_tab_does_not_appear_in_the_word_2016_ribbon

There is a bug in LibreOffice that breaks Zotero citing when a paragraph style has a "Next Style" property set (in paragraph style preferences, under "Organizer"). We've reported it to LibreOffice, but it's unclear if/when it will get attention. You…

That seems to be inline with the general slightly lower performance of LibreOffice on the R5 machine.
-
Well, I see in the debug log that operations that don't interface with Zotero happen very quickly which indicates that Zotero is not an issue, and on the other hand the calls to LibreOffice from Zotero take an unusually large amount of time. The cal…

So it's clear Zotero is not running slow from the debug log. It is either the Java interface between Zotero and LibreOffice, or LibreOffice itself that is slow. Given that you have tested on systems with identical installs and different CPUs I would…

@hallvors One of your cited items has a quote symbol " in the URL field. You need to find it and delete that symbol from the URL field, then refresh the citations in Google Docs.
-
What citation style are you using? If you restart Zotero, then click Refresh in Word in the Zotero tab does it stop skipping the number?
-
I am not sure since information on this version number is scarce, but I believe that is the original Word 2016 release version number from 2015 -- your version of Word is over 7 years old. You should begin by updating it. EDIT: Although some inform…

Can you reproduce this in a new document after citing with Zotero? If not, you will have to follow Troubleshooting Errors in Word Processor Documents
-
How did you get this version number? Can you tell Word version under File -> Account -> About Word? Did you try creating and testing other notes with images? Do none of them insert correctly?
-
Please provide the full version of Word with the current update number.
-
What's the full version number of Word that you are running?
-
Yes, a screen recording would help. If it's confidential you can send it to support@zotero.org, with a link to this thread.

What distro are you running? Your computer is obviously capable of running Zotero, but I wonder if you have some aggressive CPU throttling going on when there is little activity on the computer. Switching collections should take milliseconds, not se…

So to start there seems to be a newer version of word, so you should begin by updating to that. Otherwise, you should follow the instructions I linked to above to troubleshoot the issue with your document. Note that Zotero plugin is built to intera…

@Kai.jacobsen, @zmorin284 Are textboxes not editable in quizes only? If you go to your profile page are those textboxes editable? Can you take a screenshot of a textbox that you cannot edit, upload it somewhere (like Dropbox) and post a link here?

When collaborating with someone else on a manuscript you should use the Zotero group library functionality. If everyone is citing from their own library then you can run into these types of problems. Even when that happens, you can still insert re-i…

Actually, how many items do you have in your library? How old is your computer? Do you get any delays in Zotero when switching collections?

What's the full version number of Word that you are running? Unless you can reproduce this in a new document, you will have to go through the Troubleshooting Errors in Word Processor Documents steps. If they do not help, summarize what happened at e…

The most likely cause to examine is still something else in the system interfering. You should restart your computer and see if that fixes it. If not, open only Zotero and the System Monitor or an equivalent app, sort by CPU and see if there are any…

Restart Zotero and Word. Make sure neither Zotero, nor Word runs as administrator or a different windows user than the one you are signed in with. If it still doesn't work, describe in your own words what you're doing and what happens.
-
Find your Normal.dotm file and try to move it somewhere else (like your desktop), then restart Word. This will regenerate your Word layout settings if you or someone/something else has modified them.
-
I cannot reproduce this behavior. Can you create a small sample document that produces this behavior upon refresh and send it to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread?
-
See https://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_troubleshooting#tab_does_not_appear_in_word_2016 Make sure the template is present and checked in Global Templates.

What's the full version number of Word that you are using? What citation style did you choose in Zotero? Presumably this is happening in a new document? If not, can you reproduce it in a new document?
