You are running an outdated version of Zotero from 2020, so the first thing to do would be updating that. Make sure you are also running the latest version of the Zotero Connector. Afterwards if you are still experiencing the issue post a Report ID …

This has been addressed in the latest beta release. Make sure you are running the latest version.

Read the links above posted by adamsmith carefully. You need to submit a Report ID in Zotero and post it here.
-
Remove all of those bibliographies completely, then reinsert it.

Submit a Report ID. Does this happen in a new document? If you delete all instance of {Updating} from the document, then restart Zotero and your browser, and try again, does it work? Does {Updating} appear after having entered a citation and the "Pl…

Inserting citations into tables is only partly supported with Zotero. It will probably work if you try to insert a citation that isn't at the very end of a table cell. Adding any text, including a newspace is likely to help.

Could you produce a Debug ID from the Zotero Connector? 1. Open the Zotero Connector preferences 2. In the Advanced tab of the Zotero Connector preferences, check the box next to “Enable Logging.” Do not close this tab. 3. In a new tab navigate to …

Can you download the copy of the Google Docs that is ready to be "converted" again, then produce a Debug ID from Zotero for running the Zotero Refresh in Word on that document?
-
If you have a stuck red bar, but the document doesn't say "Zotero is updating your document", then it means you have pressed refresh in the google docs tab (or you switched to so many different tabs in your browser, that the original google docs tab…

Can you explain step by step what you're doing in a new document after restarting Zotero and your browser, and what happens? Make sure you look through open Zotero windows if you're seeing the "Please wait..." overlay in Google Docs and do not refre…

Please create a new thread unless you are sure it's the same issue, especially when it concerns threads that last had activity in 2017. See https://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_troubleshooting#error_or_non-responsive_plugin_buttons

You have to be more descriptive in your responses, otherwise we cannot help you. What do you mean by "It works until the point it should write it". Disable all other extensions but Zotero Connector in your browser, then restart Zotero and the browse…

You are saving too many items at the time and the publisher website is limiting you. Unfortunately there is little we can do, you will have to save less items.
-
You will need to update your Office/Word installation. It is extremely old.
-
This is not the full version number. The full version of Word can be found under File -> Account or File -> Help in Word.

Did you follow the Troubleshooting Errors in Word Processor Documents steps? What happened at each step?

You are running Windows, the other user was using a Mac. Your problems are unrelated. What is the full version number of Word that you are running?

After Zotero restart if you initiate a document refresh, does the debug output window not start being filled up with messages?
-
@mhjar how big is this document? After restarting Zotero, go into Help -> Debug Output Logging -> View Output. Then attempt to refresh the document. You will see Zotero log information regarding your document. You can use this log to know whet…

If you say more about the issue you're having, and it is a bug, we will fix it. See Reporting Problems.

Sorry for the late response, but you can click through that dialog for more info to override that error, which will allow you to edit the document with citations again.

Yes they are and yes you will have to reinsert them. Possible that the author had the item both in a group library and in their personal library and cited the item from the personal library in some places, or anything else as described in the citati…
-
There's no indication of any errors in this Debug ID. Are you sure the item is not being selected? Zotero library window may not get focused when you press the button, but the cited item should be selected.
-
Post-duplicate-merge items have only one ID/URI. The cited items may have multiple URIs, but only one of them will work if you paste it into the search field in Zotero. If you have cited items with URIs where none of them point to an existing Zotero…
-
I don't really know what to say to you here. Did you try removing the citation and reinserting again? It just sounds like your cited items are no longer linked to your Zotero library items, or you have duplicates in your library, i.e. what is explai…

In that case are you sure the citation that is not updating is still linked?

Zotero doesn't get to control window focus, it is up to OSes. You should test some combinations of window state, like not minimizing the main Zotero window if you do, or switching focus from Zotero directly to LibreOffice (instead of switching from …
