Could you do the following in Firefox: 1. Open the PDF page of the file that you are trying to save, hit F12 to open the developer panel, and select the Network tab, then Refresh the page. You will see an entry, most likely the first, for the PDF (…

Could you install the Zotero Connector Firefox Beta and see if the issue still occurs with it (or something else happens, and produce another Debug ID)?
-
You can install the Zotero plugin into LibreOffice manually. See https://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_manual_installation Note that Zotero will not be able to automatically update it if it ever needs to. We don't update the plugin v…

@LzHernando You should specify the login scheme as https://vu-nl.idm.oclc.org/login?qurl=%u

You will have to follow the troubleshooting instructions fully and describe what happened at each step.

Provide a Debug ID from Zotero for an attempt to import your Zotero citations into Word (Refresh operation). Make sure you use the original document that you have generated with Google Docs (you have not saved the changes since Zotero failed to conv…

EZProxy supports either url or qurl GET parameters there. qurl takes an encoded redirect URL and is what Zotero generates when it automatically detects EZProxy.

When you press Add/Edit Citation Zotero inserts a placeholder "{Citation}" at the location of the cursor where it eventually adds the citation once you finalize adding items to it in the citation dialog. However, if you press Add/Edit Citation and …

You should make sure that the checkbox in Zotero Document Settings for automatic citation updates is unticked, and avoid restarting Zotero, since every time you restart Zotero the first citing operation will be slow. If you think it's uncharacterist…

You should update to the latest version of the Firefox plugin and produce another Debug ID. It's hard to say whether we can fix this since the debug log you produced is missing some lines that Zotero tries to log regarding the requests Zotero Connec…

Have you tried restarting your machine? If that doesn't help, does downgrading to the stable version of LibreOffice help?
-
Your debug ID shows that your browser (Chrome, in this case) has no issue communicating with Zotero. However, it seems that a citation dialog is already open. You should restart Zotero, and try again in Word or Google Docs. Otherwise, if you're sti…

If you are experiencing LibreOffice issues like crashing, the first thing to try is to switch to a Stable branch if you are running latest.

Follow the troubleshooting steps, and provide the required information per those instructions.

Did you try restarting your Mac?

Press Escape in the yellow dialog to dismiss it, then use the "Add/Edit Citation". When a citing dialog is already open, pressing on a different integration button just refocuses the existing dialog. This will be communicated better in a future Zote…

Yes, we will be adding an additional dialog to Zotero word processor integration that will allow you to extract citations from a document and put them into your library where you can then modify them.

I've create a ticket to track the issue. Seems like Box integration for Word is new. We'll try to get it fixed, but it may not be straightforward. In the meantime it might help if you store your docs in box without nesting them in a folder system, a…

You should report it to Google. An extension breaking the browser is a browser bug, since the extension APIs they provide are precisely intended to isolate the browser from its extensions.

@ambord It's probably better to downgrade to Word 16.96.2 and disable Run with Rosetta, because if you don't remember to uncheck that flag later once Microsoft fixes this issue. You can get earlier Word versions here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-…

Microsoft user support is likely not aware yet that this is an issue introduced by Word, not Zotero. You should report this via the Word reporter. The more reports Microsoft receives, the more urgently they'll fix it. Otherwise you can use the worka…

Provide a Debug ID for an attempt to insert a citation into a document that is saved in a Box drive. Also, when I updated to Zotero 7 it is painfully slow. It often crashes, and struggles to open even small pdfs. When I open it in troubleshooting mo…

We don't test on Chromium, and while it should work just as well as on Chrome, this may be specific to Chromium, or some configuration option in the way it was built for you. Can you reproduce this with a Chrome build?

If you temporarily move other files except for Zotero.dotm out of your Word startup folder and restart Word does it help? Which files do you have there?

Seems like an issue with Word Beta (Insider Release). You need to install a non-beta release. https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/kb/microsoft-365-insider-kb/join-the-microsoft-365-insider-program-on-macos/4401756
