Your shortcut may be overlapping with Word's shortcut for digital signing of documents. You should try a different combination of keys.

Can you say what the issue with this save was? It seems like saving the snapshot failed, although that would be an issue in the browser.

Can you disable all extensions, restart Zotero and try again. If it doesn't work still, can you submit a Debug ID which captures only the save that fails.

You may use the Zotero plugin with documents in and outside of Onedrive, it should work well either way, although some users have issues with OneDrive if their filename contains space " " symbols.

Yes, them editing text with citations, and even copying and pasting them (to rearrange the text) will be fine, as long as those changes are accepted or rejected before using the Zotero plugin with the document again.
