Yes, but you mentioned using the "Alternative High DPI Scaling Behavior" option in the Compatibility tab. What settings do you change in to make the issue disappear and reappear?
-
Could you elaborate a bit more here? Let's ignore Word since it's most likely not relevant. When you setup the Zotero 7 beta, did you change its scaling settings in the properties dialog? Is that what caused the citation dialog to not appear? Which …

On step 5 what tab do you use to go back to the same site? Does it happen if you wait more than 5 seconds between step 4 and 5?
-
The first thing to try is to restart Zotero and refresh the Google Docs page. If it doesn't work then, provide a Debug ID from Zotero (not the Zotero Connector) for an attempt to cite.

Every time, I try to add citations, I get the message "Zotero experienced an error updating your document. Would you like to view troubleshooting instructions?" I have re-started word and zotero, updated my word, turned off track changes with no he…

This is a duplicate of https://github.com/zotero/zotero-libreoffice-integration/issues/50

One of the citations in your document contain a quote " symbol in the URL field, which is what is causing this. You can find the item in Zotero by opening an Advanced Search, changing the Title field condition to More -> URL, then typing " in the…

See Troubleshooting Errors in Word Processor Documents. Submit a Report ID. What Word processor and what version are you using?

@piotr1364 Where are you getting these items with these characters? Is this the normal item metadata when saved with the connector, or imported via DOI or similar?

This issue is caused by Word or even your system being unable to run AppleScript commands. A quick way to test this would be to open the Terminal.app, type osascript -e beep and press Enter. You should hear your computer make a beep. Sometimes rest…

Make sure you are running the latest version of Zotero, then reinstall the plugin from Zotero Preferences -> Cite -> Word Processors.
-
Unfortunately the developers had to revert the change as it broke some other functionality. There currently isn't a timeline for when it will be fixed.
-
1.a) You should not be running Zotero with sudo as per that message. ./zotero should suffice (although you should setup the zotero.desktop file). 2.a) Make sure under Tools -> Add-ons the LibreOffice plugin is enabled.
-
This isn't a general bug, and is most likely related to something on your system. Submit a Report ID. What OS and what version of Word are you using? Does it work if you save the file somewhere on your disk before attempting to insert citations?
-
If you press Zotero -> Refresh in the document you are copying from do you get any messages about citation being unlinked? If not, does copying work if you copy the document piecemeal, e.g. 5 pages at the time, instead of all at once?
-
Does it work in a new document? Can you describe step-by-step what you're doing, what you expect to happen and what happens? Submit a Report ID

@piotr1364 Thanks for the report. LibreOffice will include the fix for this issue in the upcoming versions of 7.6.7 and 24.2.3 (to be released by Apr 21).
-
Most likely you have restricted the Zotero Connector from running on all sites. That will break it from working properly. Right-click the Zotero Connector icon in your browser, and under "This can read and change site data" select "On all sites", th…

Google Docs doesn't allow plugins to set smallcap styles, so Zotero "fakes" it by setting the citation text to font "Alegraya" where it is required. We have a fix for this that has been in a pipeline for over 2 years now that we cannot deploy due to…

Could you support a Report ID? By this issue do you mean that if you set all your monitors to a refresh rate of 60Hz the Zotero citation dialog appears, but if one of the screens runs with a higher refresh rate the citation dialog does not appear?
-
What DPI settings do you have for your monitors? Do altering them, instead of changing the DPI scaling behavior of Zotero also make the citation window appear?
-
By "some time" do you mean a matter of a couple of seconds, or a more significant amount of time?

This is a standard keyboard navigation feature of the list interface like the one in Zotero. Spacebar allows you to select and deselect items for multiple-item selection (along with Ctrl/Cmd-ArrowUp/ArrowDown to move the focused item). What is quick…

You should try resetting your Normal.dotm template. See https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msoffice/forum/all/reset-microsoft-word-365-normal-template-on-mac/9d1fc3e0-2b07-4c88-8edc-88b4155c4e3c

@k_b_y @eporte Do you see this happen when opening links or .html files in some other way?
-
It's almost definitely the flatpak. Flatpaks run in a sandbox which has all its own configuration. We generally do not recommend running Zotero from Flatpak and generally are unable to provide troubleshooting instructions for that specifically becau…
