I am unable to reproduce this on my setup. Could you send the document which causes the bad output before conversion to support@zotero.org?
-
The latest version 7 release.
-
What version of LibreOffice are you using? LibreOffice 24 is quite unstable, so you should use LibreOffice 7 if possible. Generally LibreOffice crashes are caused either by issues in Java or LibreOffice.
-
Can you reproduce this with LibreOffice 7?
-
Zotero is based on Firefox, so you will likely see the same behavior there. You will have more luck looking for troubleshooting clipboard issues with Arch Linux and Firefox.
-
This is not related to Zotero runtime (although the upcoming Zotero 7 will run in native ARM mode). Word for Mac suffers from some occasional issues with Zotero. They are out of our control and can appear and disappear due to changes in macOS and Wo…

We have released an update for the Zotero Beta that contains a potential fix for the issue. Could you test it and see if it works with higher refresh rates?

Do you run any security software? Have you tried disabling it temporarily?
-
You need to restart Zotero after changing all monitors to 60 Hz. Sorry, should have included that in my original comment.
-
This is currently caused by any monitor running at a refresh rate of over 60Hz. We are working on a fix and will update you once it's out.
-
You should disable other extensions, particularly Grammarly, reload Google Docs and see if it works. You might need to restart Zotero.
-
Could you create a new temporary Windows account, log off from your current one, log into the new one and see if you still see the same issue with Zotero 7?
-
Do you see this if you disable all other extensions in your browser, and restart it?
-
@Mowgoli Have you been able to test this more? We are unable to reproduce and thus fix this issue.

You should update to the latest version of Word available to you. If Word still crashes, see Troubleshooting Errors in Word Processor Documents
-
What's the full version number of Word that you are running?
-
@readf0x @gwyn-hopkins I've reproduced and reported this as a bug to the LibreOffice developers. It only occurs with LibreOffice 24, you can revert to the stable version LibreOffice 7, where this bug is not present.
-
Are you saving your documents in OneDrive? If so, try saving it on your computer disk.
-
Make sure you log out of your usual user (or at least close Zotero there), before testing in a new temporary user.
-
Can you reproduce this in a new document?
-
Are you using any custom window styling with Windows OS, like high contrast, etc? If you disable those, does the issue persist? If you create a new temporary Windows user account can you reproduce the problem there?
-
Are you seeing this across multiple machines? Are you using any custom window styling in Windows OS, or some other user preferences that change the look of windows? If you create a new temporary Windows user account do you see this issue?

If you right click the Quick Format Citation view from the start menu (the popup that you have been taking screenshots of), and select Move, then use arrow keys, and or mouse to move it, can you get the dialog to move into the view?

Just to let you know, we are aware of this issue, and will let you know when a fix is available. A number of workarounds are posted here, but the simplest one is to insert the bibliography at the end of the document and move it to the location where…

Note that you are running Windows 8 which is no longer officially supported by Microsoft for quite a while, so this may be partially at fault and we may be unable to help you. If you put your mouse over the Zotero item in the Windows menu bar, the…

@reddylcs This is indicative of Macros being unable to run for the Zotero plugin. See https://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_troubleshooting#zotero_tab_does_not_appear_in_the_word_ribbon

Restart Zotero and try again. When you initiate a Zotero command in Google Docs, make sure you look through all open browser and Zotero windows -- you need to authenticate Zotero with Google Docs in your browser, and then find the citation dialog am…

See https://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_manual_installation This is due to the version naming change of LibreOffice -- they went from LibreOffice 7 to LibreOffice 24. We will soon release an update to Zotero which will fix it. Sorr…
