Translator folk will need to look into this. Offending URL https://elibrary.ru/item.asp?id=15908827
-
If you don't see the existing citation in the window then it means that the underlying field code has been corrupt and Zotero is unable to extract the citation data, so it pops up a new window. The only solution there is to just insert it again.
-
@warguelles can you include page load/refresh along with attempted save in the Debug ID?
-
Do you get any of these errors in a fresh doc? If not you will have to follow https://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_troubleshooting#debugging_broken_documents
-
Can we see a Debug ID for reloading the page and attempting a save @warguelles?
-
I believe Chromium can install extensions from Chrome extension store, right? It would be good if you could use Chromium for that. We'll be unifying the code across Firefox and Chrome extensions with the upcoming connector rollout for Chrome. If Mat…

Ok, this is getting me nowhere and I'm out of ideas. We'll be releasing the 5.0 connector for Chrome shortly, which allows another way to log errors. I'll ping this thread, once that's out with further instructions. Thanks for the help so far!
-
Does this happen on any specific web pages, or is it every page? If only specific pages, can we see some URLs?
-
That's the full crash trace. Not sure if it is what you're looking for.
-
Please see the Reporting Problems support page and provide more detailed steps to reproduce and a Report ID.
-
A Report ID would be good for starters.
-
Cannot reproduce under Ubuntu 17.04.
-
Works fine here too. Nothing suspicious in the debug log. It fails to extract meaningful item data with the BibTeX translator and and translates 0 items. @areteichi do report if you manage to figure out the offending extension.
-
Right, so the unsuccessful one isn't quite what I expected to see. There may be multiple layers to this (I hope not), but could you produce another unsuccessful attempt Debug ID?
-
Okay, even more debug logging in 4.999.21. Should be able to catch it now. Could you produce another couple of Debug IDs? Thanks for sticking around, @fmuro!
-
@fmuro We've pushed a version of the connector for firefox that logs a few more things. Could you produce another couple of Debug IDs with the updated version when you have a chance?
-
@fmuro hmm, so I've been unsuccessfully trying to reproduce this. I also took a better look at your successful debug log, but that seems to contain an item save, not refresh/navigation. What we want captured in a debug log is a successful/failed loa…

JavaScript Error: "state.fun.decorate[params[0]][params[1]] is undefined" {file: "chrome://zotero/content/xpcom/citeproc.js" line: 3948} This is either a CSL or citeproc issue, so pinging @fbennett. @Mazzers could you also upload the custom style …

Could you provide a Report ID?
-
We can look into this, but ultimately this is a LibreOffice/Java problem, so you should probably begin by asking for help via LibreOffice support channels.
-
How did I manage to get it? Easy, clicking on my message's link. Surprisingly I find no problems when I access the page through a link, rather than going to the home page and performing a search in the database. Oh, thanks, this might lead us onto s…
-
Okay, this debug log is still surprisingly empty. Are you on-campus (no need for credentials/proxy for ams.org)? Could you provide a debug log for a successful load too?
-
@fmuro this does not seem to include a refresh. You should enable debug logging and refresh the page. If the page fails to load properly - send in the debug log, otherwise clear the output and do the debug-refresh dance again.
-
If it works fine in a new document you will have to follow step 8 in Debugging Broken Documents instructions. There is nothing we can do on our end, you will have to isolate the problematic citation yourself.
-
Most likely you have removed the cited item from your library and Zotero is using the version stored in the doc. A way to confirm this is to insert a new citation and see if you still get the option to open it in your library after restarting Word a…
-
@aarwdc There's nothing we can give you, until someone who's getting this problem manages to figure out what change on their computer lead to this problem. Try running Zotero Standalone as administrator and seeing if that helps.
-
Ok, there was another bug, fixed in the Beta 194 out now. Thanks for reporting, @smorris11
-
@mtd91429 The firefox connector has been updated and we'll get around to chrome at some point too. Tell us if you're still seeing bug, since I did not have access to the Clinical Key publications, but fixed the problems with ORCID.
-
What style are you using?
-
Yep, that's a bug in the connectors. A fix to follow soon. Thanks for reporting.
