Try resetting translators from the Advanced tab of Connector Preferences, then try again.
-
There is a bug with a feature in Firefox that Zotero Connector uses to make translators work and causes these hiccups. It shouldn't be very frequent. Are there any particular steps you are taking to reproduce the ScienceDirect translator not being d…

@andisl the combination of Zotero 4.0 and the LibreOffice plugin 5.0.0 should work fine, but we'd appreciate it if you could generate a Report ID with Zotero 5.0 for the error you were seeing when trying to insert the bibliography.

I tested without issues with citations from 2 different groups, converting from one standard style to another, so this is an issue that @fbennett or @adamsmith may be able to solve, although if the time is short, citations from a single group is a v…

LibreOffice has some weird issues to do with retaining formatted text in ReferenceMarks, which we work around in our plugin. I would not be surprised if NeoOffice has a more severe version of the same issue. Since NeoOffice has not seen a proper upd…

There has not yet been an user that could find the cause of the issue, so we couldn't reproduce this and find a definite solution. The updated word extension (to be properly released with Zotero 5.0) helps some people. You can give it a shot, by dow…

If you can reproduce the issue by inserting citations in footnotes from two different groups and then changing the style, then it's a Zotero issue. Otherwise this is to do with RDF/ODT scanner.
-
Okay. So what you're most likely seeing on MacOS is this issue. I.e. You're getting the same prompt that you would on Windows, but it is invisible and manifests as a freeze. RDF/ODT scanner developers will need to look into this.
-
Your problem here is most likely the fact, that your citations are already in footnotes and you are trying to convert it to a footnote-based style, so Zotero tries to move your citations in footnotes to.. footnotes. Does it work if you choose a non…

It should work (although generally, saving on item listings pages is preferred over trying to save PDFs directly). What is the URL that this is failing for you on?
-
What version of Zotero 5 are you running? If you look in LibreOffice under Tools -> Extension Manager, what version of Zotero Integration is listed?
-
(Although if @adamsmith has ideas for a way to work around this, let's try those first)

@mgcoffee I've created a ticked for this. If you're willing to help us troubleshoot this with custom builds of the connector we might be able to find a fix. If you are I will post in this thread some time later, once I get around to looking at that …

@adamsmith a bunch of JavaScript Error: "Same origin HTTP request redirected to a different origin not handled which are coming from here. I should probably know more about this, but I haven't really looked into this code. AFAIK, these are some t…

@bknorn it's working fine with the same setup for me. Most likely to do with (changes in) your desktop environment config. A computer restart might be a simple fix that works.
-
Not anything obvious I could point at. If it works in a new profile then a Firefox Profile reset will likely cure whatever is causing this. Do note that this will remove all your extensions, themes and preferences.
-
Restart Firefox, navigate to about:debugging, tick "Enable add-on debugging" and click "Debug" next to Zotero Connector. You might get a prompt about remote-debugging session - click "Yes/OK". Developer tools will open. Switch to "Console" tab at th…

It could be possible that an update to another extension may have started causing the Connector to fail. If you disable all other add-ons and restart, does the Connector work?
-
Does it work if you disable other add-ons, or in a new profile?
-
The preferences page coming up blank is really weird, reinstalling the add-on might be a good start. The visibility of addons is controlled by firefox. Look for the Zotero button in the Customize mode of Firefox.

Proxies get automatically detected when you are redirected to enter the credentials to authenticate with your institution. After authentication notification bar at the top of the page should appear, offering to add the detected proxy. If that does …

Ticket created. Not sure what's causing it at the moment for a quick fix.

Can you provide an example URL that does not work?

This seems to work for me with the same setup. Do you get the error cross for the PDF? Could you produce a Debug ID from the client? Anything weird about your setup? Are you on campus? Does it work if you disable the proxy feature in the connector …

I'm afraid there will not be any official support for Word 2000 integration and that may indeed break at any point in a more tragic way than currently existing problems. We are not testing with Word 2000, when developing. Carry on using it, if it wo…

Could you provide another Report ID? It appears you may have mistyped this one (you can copy from the dialog Zotero shows). Otherwise, upgrade to latest version of Zotero and see if you still get the problem. In general, there are known problems w…
-
Actually, don't worry about it. A bugfix to the bugfix will follow soon.
-
Could you produce a Debug ID?
-
Ok, I think I found the bug. Just needed to think for a month! The Firefox connector has been updated to 5.0.6, see if it's still a problem.

Hey @fmuro, sorry for the delay. Could you install the chrome connector and help us troubleshoot this? Go to the Connector preferences -> Advanced -> Tick "Show in Console". Afterwards you'll need to navigate to about:extensions, tick "Develo…
