Press Win+R and type in the path to zotero.exe, then add -ZoteroDebug -jsconsole at the end. You might get some debugging windows which should shed some light on this.
-
Ok, lets try this fix. Follow these instructions carefully: 1. Open zotero installation folder (default C:\Program Files (x86)\Zotero) 2. Navigate to extensions\zoteroWinWordIntegration@zotero.org 3. Download this zip file 4. Remove the contents of…

What version of Word? Would you mind extracting the snippet that causes the issue (if it can be reproduced after removing the surrounding text) and sending it to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread?

What version of Word?
-
See https://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_manual_installation Make sure your startup location wasn't changed or if it has, you need to move Zotero.dotm there manually.
-
Does it happen every time after the first citation or is it not consistently reproducible?
-
See the thread I linked to above. You need to either update your version of Zotero or upgrade to Zotero 5.0 if that's a possibility for you.
-
Is this consistently reproducible? Does it happen in a new document, or only in an existing one with many citations?
-
What version of Zotero are you on?
-
Try updating to 5.0.26 and see if that helps? @adamsmith another debug ID would be useful if it's still broken.

Did this used to happen before? If you insert enough text in a document to span multiple pages and insert Zotero citations, you get the jumping, or is it just that one specific document?
-
It's worth doing some basic troubleshooting steps: uninstalling Zotero from Windows via the uninstall programs app, if that's possible, redownloading the setup file (perhaps with a different browser) and trying again.

Enabling the add-in within Word is not functioning for some of our students, Zotero.dotm is located in start-up folder for Word via Word, but they receive the error message anyway. If you see the ribbon tab and get the error button, that means the …

Right, so per my note above, the way to go about troubleshooting this is as follows: 1. Check that under Zotero -> Tools -> Add-ins "Zotero Word for Mac Plugin" is enabled If you find that it is enabled, it means Zotero will have already atte…

Does it happen in a new document?

We recommend switching to LibreOffice. Zotero no longer supports OpenOffice. OpenOffice has not been updated for a long time now and appears to be essentially abandoned.
-
This should work as expected. Could you describe the sequence of actions that lead you to this problem, provide URLs, etc?
-
In general, the requirements for the word plugin are these: 1. Under Zotero -> Tools -> Add-ins "Zotero Word for Mac Plugin" is enabled 2. Zotero.dotm is placed in the startup folder of Word A new install of Zotero should have the plugin enab…

What version of OS, Word?

Follow the link I posted above for instructions on how to produce a Report ID.

The Wiley and T&F links you've posted are not proxied there. You could try going into connector preferences and changing the proxy scheme to http://0-%h[and the rest] and see if that helps at a all. Your proxy setup is pretty unusual, so Zotero…

Does UoL prepend 0- to all proxied journal URLs or only sage?

It's working for me behind a proxy. Could you submit a Debug ID for a save from Zotero?
-
Have you tried restarting Firefox and Zotero?
-
I've created a ticket to track this, but no timeline for the moment.
