I have tried only with English words. I just tried with accented French words and Japanese kanji but, strangely, I cannot reproduce with the steps described above. So does this only happen with a specific item? Or does changing the item metadata (e.…

Can you produce a Debug ID for attempting to insert this note into a new document? Does it matter which citation style you use? Does it matter if the inserted citations have accented symbols (non-standard ASCII)?
-
Could you provide complete minimal steps to reproduce this?
-
The length of the note should not be an issue, but we haven't tested with notes with 100+ citations, so there could be bugs. Could you binary partition (make copies and cut them in half to identify the problematic one) the note and see if some speci…

Does this happen in a new test document? See Troubleshooting Errors in Word Processor Documents.

Excellent. How did you figure out that those registry entries might be an issue? Where did they come from?
-
See Reporting Problems. Describe step-by-step what happens and what you expect to happen. Try to reproduce the issue in a new document.
-
No, this issue has nothing to do with the Zotero app, and Zotero doesn't use the http server on Windows to communicate with Word, it uses COM. The Zotero.dotm file contains Visual Basic code/macros, and the initial macro is responsible for setting t…

You should report this to LibreOffice bug tracker, and switch to a stable release of LibreOffice 24.
-
The lack of label on the Zotero tab suggests that Zotero macros are not running for some reason. If you open the Zotero.dotm file with Word directly do you get additional warnings/banners/dialogs about macros? Does the Zotero tab get a "Zotero" labe…

What version of Word (full version number) are you running. Does this happen after restarting your Mac, and without opening any other apps? Does this happen in long documents without Zotero citations?
-
I cannot reproduce this. Does this happen if you create a new Zotero profile? Could you provide a Debug ID for the click that makes Zotero appear on top from Zotero?
-
Do you have any plugins installed? Can you reproduce this in Troubleshooting Mode (Help -> Restart in Troubleshooting Mode)?

As you probably know, most software is constantly being updated: operating systems, word processors, browsers, etc are constantly getting updates. It is impossible to create non-trivial software that doesn't ever break simply due to the fact the lan…

There has not been an underlying change to the way Zotero Connector works, we've only added this dialog because frequently we get reports from users about issues that are caused by not allowing the extension to run on all sites. This is because when…

There's no way to blacklist hostnames at the moment, but we can add it if it's causing issues, or just add on.worldcat.org to a proxy blacklist. Still, we need to see additional information regarding this issue before we can confirm it's caused by u…

Does it work with Chrome? Can you provide a Debug ID for an atempt to save from Firefox that fails?
-
Could one of your users provide a Debug ID from the Zotero Connector for the flow that breaks? They should 1. Enable Debug Logging in Zotero Connector Preferences 2. Open a new tab. Perform the navigation and attempt to login that causes issues. 3.…

Make a backup of your document. Delete the bibliography and reinsert it again using the Add/Edit Bibliography button. If some references are missing, see Existing Citations Not Detected.
-
Does it work if you switch to Zotero Beta?
-
See Reporting Problems. Provide specific details and steps to reproduce.
-
Submit a Debug ID from Zotero for an attempt to insert a bibliography that fails. See Troubleshooting Errors in Word Processor Documents.
-
In Zotero Document Preferences is "Automatically update citations" unchecked? If so, this is the expected behaviour. Your citations will update when you press Refresh in the Zotero tab.
-
Zotero only has (limited) support for citing in tables in LibreOffice.
-
Does this occur in a new document?
-
@gilz1 Please create a new thread and see Reporting Problems. Describe everything that you have tried step-by-step.
-
Yes, try with Chrome if it's working with Firefox. Provide a Debug ID from Chrome if it doesn't work.
-
Hi. Sorry for a very late response. We couldn't spend more time looking into your issue at the time, but this was probably just some misconfiguration of the Bibliography style Paragraph settings in your document. You can make any Word style be inclu…

Could you do the following in Firefox: 1. Open the PDF page of the file that you are trying to save, hit F12 to open the developer panel, and select the Network tab, then Refresh the page. You will see an entry, most likely the first, for the PDF (…
