You need to press Refresh in Google Docs in the Zotero menu after transfering the doc. Make sure you convert it to a Google Docs document first (don't edit as .docx).

Restart your browser. Zotero should prompt you for those permissions again.

You should edit the author field of the item that is causing you issues in Zotero and make sure there are no empty spaces or tabs in it. Then press Refresh in the Zotero tab in Word.
