So what seems to have happened is that our fix for random Word crashes when using the Zotero extension that has been plaguing us for a while broke Wine integration as a side-effect. We'll see whether we can maintain both the fix and Wine compatibili…

We are aware of this, but Google Docs does not provide us with a good way to control the cursor. We'll look for a way to improve this soon and post in this thread if there are any developments.

Does it work well in a new document? Could you produce a Debug ID from Zotero? 1. In the Zotero Help menu, go to Debug Output Logging and select Enable. 2. Perform the action that causes the error message to appear 3. Before doing anything else, re…

If you're on MacOS go into Zotero Preferences -> Cite -> Word Processors and reinstall the Word plugin.

All this points to Word running with elevated privileges or as different user than the one that Zotero is running as on your machine. Or perhaps some Windows permissions bug. We've had reports of users being unable to use integration unless they run…

Are you opening this file by double-clicking on it? Does it make a difference if you launch Word separately and then use File -> Open to open it?

The file is stored at "D:\_\kjk.docx". Have you tried storing it somewhere else where the path doesn't include non alphanumeric characters?

The line is standard styling that Word adds for footnotes, whether inserted by the author (See "Insert Footnote" under References tab in Word), or by Zotero for citations. The line is very standard for footnotes in pretty much any writing, but you c…

Could you provide a Debug ID in a new document, where you add 2 items into a citation and the insertion succeeds?

ask if a dev could tell us if this is something that is being added? We'd like to have this, but it would require a rather large amount of work for a feature that's not that high on the priority list so we have no plans for the near future.

The bibliography will get the (b) back once you cite anything or remove a citation and the bibliography needs to be updated. For the intext citation you will be prompted by Zotero that it has detected a change and if you choose to keep that change t…

You certainly shouldn't manually remove the (b) from citations. If you click the Add/Edit Bibliography button do you only see one entry for this item in the dialog? What about if you click "Revert all" in the bottom left?

Go into Zotero Preferences -> Cite -> Word Processors and reinstall the Word plugin, then restart Word.

It seems that citation copying stopped working after some changes to improve citing performance. We'll prioritise fixing this in the near future and will post here as well as on the issue tracker when we have something to test.

Shouldn’t this not work with Mendeley 1.19.3? I’m concerned that I’ve made some hideous error that I’m not aware of! I didn’t have any subfolders set in Mendeley, so that’s not an issue for me. What you did is fine, although if you had any sort of o…
