You can also try pasting ZOTERO_TRANSFER_DOCUMENT The Zotero citations in this document have been converted to a format that can be safely transferred between word processors. Open this document in a supported word processor and press Refresh in th…

I rolled back to a copy of my document a week old You likely only need to revert the document to a version prior to the last time you cited in this document with Zotero (if that time is less than a week ago). However it took 3/4 hours to get to the …

@cjoynson I too wonder what occurred to this document between it being in a working condition and breaking? Using the version history to go over the changes would be the way to investigate. Did you transfer this document to Word or LibreOffice at an…

Did you not get an error prompt like this https://snipboard.io/rifcEI.jpg ? If not, open another docx file into Google Docs, attempt to interact with the "dead" Zotero UI, then you submit a Report ID from the Connector?

What version of Java do you have installed? Does it work better with the stable LibreOffice 6.4 release?

I cannot reproduce the copying problem in Google Chrome. Do you see the problem if you simply insert a citation in a new document, then copy it into another new document? Or is it only when two documents are involved? If so, could you provide the fu…

How are you copying and pasting between Google Docs? Are you using the same browser? Are you using keyboard shortcuts or menu options?
-
Do you have other extensions in Chrome? You should try disabling them and seeing if it fixes it. Otherwise submit a Report ID from the Zotero Connector.
-
Does it work if you authenticate with a non-college email (on a doc that is owned by that account)?
-
This would be an OS bug. You can try creating a new User Account and seeing whether it works there, which would indicate a configuration issue on your current account. Otherwise you should look for support with Apple.

Oh, sorry, I took a look at the code again, and it seems we are not equipped to handle proxied urls where the journal page url has a hyphen. Your best bet is probably to just access the journal without the proxy.

Zotero no longer supports Word versions prior to 2010. You will have to upgrade.
-
If you're storing citations as Bookmarks that is the problem. Check in Zotero Document Preferences (where you choose the citation style, etc). The way to work around this is to work with an odt file and convert it to docx before submission.
-
Go into Zotero Connector Preferences -> Proxy and add www.pep-web.org to the list of hostnames for your proxy.

What version of LibreOffice and Zotero? Which citation style are you using? Can you reproduce this in a new document?

Do you have collaborators for this document? Do they have the Zotero Connector installed? If you go into File -> Version History, can you find the instance where large parts of text that got unlinked were moved or edited? If you restore the docum…

Look for a checkbox in the Zotero client Preferences, under General. Sorry for the confusion, we are planning to move this preference to the Zotero Connector in the future.

Something happened to LibreOffice Java configuration. The instructions at this link apply: https://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_troubleshooting#installation_error

@johndehayes We are looking for a way to fix this but unfortunately cannot reproduce the problem ourselves at the moment. A fix will come eventually.

Do you run any custom security software on your Mac?
-
No, Firefox extensions do not affect snapshot saving in Zotero. EDIT: Well, they might, but in this particular instance they do not.
-
Seems like there's nothing specific here to help pinpoint what the problem is. You do have a lot of Zotero extensions installed. You should try disabling them all, restarting Zotero and seeing whether you can still reproduce the problem

Could you produce a Debug ID from Zotero for a failing save?
-
You need to follow these instructions which specify how to check your startup folder and which will also work to change it to something else. You will need to replace ::username:: with your windows username in the path above.
-
This is likely due to some folder permission misconfiguration on your system. Make sure your Zotero data directory and all its subfolders are owned by your user and are writable.
-
See https://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_troubleshooting#installation_error A Java JRE has to be selected in LibreOffice preferences.

What happened when downloading the Zotero.dotm file directly?
-
Go into Zotero Connector Preferences -> Proxies, select your university proxy and check the "Automatically convert between dots and hyphens in proxied hostnames" checkbox.

Could you be more specific about what you're trying to do? See https://www.zotero.org/support/reporting_problems#provide_steps_to_reproduce
