You shouldn't need to download the extension from the repo, but when you attempt to install it manually into LibreOffice do you get any errors? If not, when you press extension buttons in LibreOffice do you get an error or are they simply non-respon…

@edelrockfield Just make sure your colleagues have Zotero Connector installed on their browsers. They do not need to install Zotero onto their computer to user it, only the Connector. Otherwise your citations may get unlinked.

The LibreOffice extension needs a JDK configured to work with LibreOffice. This information is definitely available on the Zotero troubleshooting guide. What specifically have you tried so far?
-
No it's not.
-
You shouldn't get that warning, although even if you do, as long as you allowed Zotero to convert your document for transfer before saving to .docx it will work fine.

Can you give more details? What do you mean by "does not function"? Could you submit a Report ID?

I don't see the ReferenceMarks choice under document preferences You can check this in the Zotero plugin by pressing Document Preferences Oddly enough though, when I copy and paste a reference from one LibreOffice doc (my backup copies) to the new o…

Are you storing citations as ReferenceMarks (check in Zotero document preferences)? I cannot recall anyone ever reporting anything like this. One possibility could be if you copy parts of document, paste it somewhere else and later remove the origin…

Sorry, this is a LibreOffice bug. It's been reported forever ago but unfortunately we cannot get the right people to care, although posting on the bug report and reminding them might eventually help, so do post on the bugtracker that you are affecte…

I've created a pull request. This is a rare type of bug, but it's been annoying me personally for a while, so I wrote a quick fix.
-
No, it's not a version control issue. But you should be able to figure out what changes to the document caused the citations to unlink by looking at Google Docs version history. It could be Zotero causing it (although that is extremely unlikely), or…
-
Whatever change happened between Zotero citations being linked and unlinked should be possible to trace and revert with Google Docs document version history as long as you are sure that all citations were linked at some point. As Dan said above, you…

Restart your browser. Make sure when you sign in with Zotero that you choose the account that has access to the document you are working on.

Reinstall Word plugin from Zotero Preferences -> Cite -> Word Processors. You must have had Zotero Beta installed and then downgraded to the stable version. Usually this works without issues, but due to new additions to the Zotero Beta the plu…

Could you produce a Debug ID from Zotero for an operation that fails? Then see Troubleshooting Errors in Word Processor Documents
-
There definitely isn't a bug in the progress window closing if the word processor reports the operation has finalized, so it would be LibreOffice not sending through a completion message to Zotero. Since this isn't a general problem that we have eve…

You should update LibreOffice and Java to start with. LibreOffice on Linux is one of the fastest integrations even with huge documents, so what you're seeing is not normal. It shouldn't take more than a few minutes at most even with that many citati…

You can add LibreOffice Zotero keyboard shortcuts by going into Tools -> Customize -> Keyboard and adding Bindings for Zotero Macros. The interface is quite clunky but usable. You can find Zotero macros under the Category section in LibreOffic…

Installing the LibreOffice plugin definitely works from places other than the default install folder. Perhaps you did something else as well that made it fix itself. Notably LibreOffice sometimes may take some time to fully shut down (even if no win…

@syncdoth The folder path with '.localized' is correct. See the suggested troubleshooting instructions in this thread. Tell us what you've tried and what happened.
-
This could have happened if you closed your computer, browser or Zotero before it had finished updating the document (or if any of those crashed for any reason). The citations unlinking could be part of that or could be caused by something else. You…

Which word processor are you using? How long is the document? Is there anything special about the way you split it up?
