Can you reproduce in TroubleShooting Mode (Help -> Restart in TroubleShooting Mode)? If that solves the problem, you would need to identify which plugin is causing the problem.
-
6) Further troubleshooting If you're still having trouble, post to the Zotero Forums (in your existing thread, if you have one) with a Debug ID for the first sync after making a change that doesn't sync (e.g., making a change to an item in the onli…

I still see the bug in the latest beta. Zotero 9.0-beta.20+4b14ca9af (64-bit) Same also on Ubuntu.

I have tested on the online library, and notes and tags were all copied. Do you import to your personal library? Do you do the import with drag and drop? In the desktop app, you can enable it from the General pane of the Settings: https://s3.amazon…

Here is a script for the Actions and Tags plugin to deal with this problem before a solution is implemented in Zotero: https://github.com/windingwind/zotero-actions-tags/discussions/602

Thanks for the modified script. For the priority order, there is also the case of locally added PDF attachments which do not have a URL. They fall in between 2 and 3: https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/130523/newly-added-attachment-pdf-is-set-as-p…

Can you provide an example of ISBN for which it is failing?

I still see the same label for the two text formatting options. Is it possible to use different names, like "Code" and "Code Block"? https://wordpress.com/support/markdown-quick-reference/

You can first tag the items with empty dates and then use that tag to filter those items.

Thanks for the feedback. I have updated the script to fix this problem. Let me know if it works.

I still see the problem in the latest beta. It now freezes for a longer time than before: 38 seconds. The Debug ID is D1341085269. Zotero 9.0-beta.14+8af91b014 (64-bit) Windows 11
-
Working nicely now, thank you very much.

This is fixed in Zotero 9.0-beta.11+cf7fcd751 (64-bit), as mentioned here: https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/comment/509587/#Comment_509587
-
The new references added will still get the "F" though, so you will need to repeat the process to remove them. So it is only a temporary workaround until it can be fixed.

You can try this script in the Actions and Tags plugin: https://github.com/windingwind/zotero-actions-tags/discussions/589 It does not work yet in a note opened in a separate window, but it should work in the main Zotero window. You cannot use the …

I have cleared the cookies of the page, and I am now back to the first design where the import to Zotero is working. I don't know how to get back to the second design.

A simple way to fix in the meantime: Switch to a non-"notes" Citation Style, for example "Chicago Manual of Style 18th edition (author-date)" Then back to "Chicago Manual of Style 18th edition (notes and bibliography)". → The "F" are gone.
