Strange error. Tested on macOS Monterey with version 0.1.6 of ZoteroPreview. I used Firefox and Chrome to download the .xpi file. No corruption detected $ zip -T ZoteroPreview.xpi test of ZoteroPreview.xpi OK

You can choose the PDF viewer in the general pane of the Zotero preferences. @emilianoeheyns has developed an add-on to add this option to the right-click menu Please refer to this thread.

What do you mean by "I can't uninstall it". Do you mean that dragging the Zotero application to the trash is not uninstalling it? Something else? Did you read How do I uninstall Zotero?
