I guess you are looking for the "Add/Edit Citation" button, which brings the red dialogue, not for the "Add Note" button (yellow dialogue).

This look like an error in the info associated to the item. Could you confirm the author names are 1) unique and 2) entered as two fields in Zotero?

To me, it started with the latest betas, particularly with the Linux version. But I might be wrong and I am just misremembering (and wasting your time).

I'm mainly using Zotero 7 on Linux and I also noticed a general slowness, particularly during the sync phase and while loading pdf in already opened tabs.

I didn't notice any error when wired. Only with WiFi. Restarting Zotero seems to fix for a while. Let's see with the next beta. Thank you as always

I see the same (Ubuntu 22.04.3). Right-click only works when the focus is on "My Library" tab.
