FYI, this seems to have solved the problem: "If the extension is installed but not visible, you may need to pin it to your toolbar" (https://www.zotero.org/support/troubleshooting_translator_issues#:~:text=Try uninstalling and reinstalling the,the i…

Sort by year is still not working. When can this be fixed?
-
This is a continuing failure. How can it be fixed?
-
HathiTrust translator icon (in Chrome) is still not working -- now even at the level of the main catalog description of an item.
-
Same problem as before, two years later (haven't tried recently): https://firstsearch-oclc-org.ezp1.lib.umn.edu/WebZ/FSFETCH?fetchtype=fullrecord:sessionid=fsap02pxm1-1680-kzezmum1-o7q6k7:entitypagenum=4:0:recno=1:resultset=1:format=FI:next=html/rec…

"An error occurred saving with JSTOR. Attempting to save using Embedded Metadata instead." I'm getting this message repeatedly. A (partial?) save happens anyway. What is the fix for this problem?
-
Unknown cause.
-
This problem seems to have been resolved -- maybe in the last rebooting.
-
The lower-left Tag section was empty until the system forced a fresh boot for some reason, when it appeared with hundreds of tags. I was able to color-code one tag ("CITE"), which I've now used to flag items in the central list for special attention

"going to the item's main catalog record and grabbing the citation from there" -- yes, this does work as a workaround - though with the loss of page data. "We should probably have Zotero do this automatically, but that might take some time." Worth …

Same problem as original report. URL is https://babel.hathitrust.org/cgi/pt?id=osu.32435054486576;view=2up;seq=94 Goes through the motions, but nothing gets saved.

Startup has been very slow for the last couple of weeks. This morning it took about 5 minutes to load. (Standalone, Windows 10, running Chrome.)
-
Saving from both libraries in question (MNCAT and NYPL) worked OK this afternoon. However, before that success, Z5.0 failed to load several times -- and when it did load it was slower than usual.
-
The same problem as before. Same solid green "progress" bar. Fourth attempt this afternoon. No access. I tried the web version, which seemed to load OK, but then would not open a folder.

Was just relaying, as I thought I was supposed to, the error number reported by the red alarm icon. I take it that syncing was not successful.
-
It finally did clear -- after it identified and I resolved some conflicting records. (Am not sure what causes that recurrent problem.) It will be good to get rid of the Not Responding message if the system is indeed running OK -- otherwise the syst…

I thought it was referenced by the ticket number I supplied. It was short, cryptic, and repeated on several attempts. Today, though, there seems to be no problem syncing.
-
I found (and deleted) five more such items but searching on the abbreviated filename. Some were old, and presented no problem before. Odd.
-
I spoke too soon -- a similar or the same error message popped up again. 1500977763 Same file? Different? What next?

Thanks. That seems to have done it. It would be handy to be able to insert an image in a note -- will that be possible eventually?
-
Thanks. An oversight on my part: the Publisher column is scrolled far to the right, off the screen, in the AA column. But is indeed there, along with everything else. This will be helpful.
-
Using Standalone, and trying to export a small (trial) collection to CVS, I notice that the Publisher information is not included -- even though Publisher is selected in the pull-down menu in the central column. I also notice that Place information …

OK, thanks; that explains that.
-
So I should alert the people at HT?

Here it is: http://babel.hathitrust.org/cgi/pt?id=njp.32101082376805;view=1up;seq=274;size=175

P.S. After half an hour or so the folders column did begin to populate, and some files in the folders, so evidently things are indeed working. It would be good to have an early sign of success, though.
-
"can't pick collections": meaning can't choose a destination collecton? That seems to be the case, which is unfortunate. So where does the item go?
-
I emptied the Trash and apparently that worked. Thanks. Images, esp. screen shots, would be good.

"you don't give us much here, but typically this occurs when you have tried to paste images into notes. You should be able to find the note in question using a string that's part of the error message and then delete it, empty your Zotero trash, and …
