You can change this setting in the Zotero preferences (which you can access in the "gear" menu). Just uncheck "Use Zotero for downloaded Endnote files."

Yep, you're right. We'll work on that. Thanks for the bug report HubMed (http://www.hubmed.org/) does indeed work great with Zotero (and is a great alternative to PubMed), so we've added that to our Compatible Sites list.

We're working on various import options, including from RefWorks. If you can export from another citation manager to an RIS file, that is generally working the best right now (you can then just use "import" and then select the RIS file).
