May we request the "Create New Item from Current Page" feature on the connector? (Perhaps beside 'Save Zotero Snapshot from current page' as available in the context menu.)

That's one workaround candidate, thanks. This has happened to me more than once. Of-course, a tag 'abc' each for every collection 'ABC' is the kind of duplication that an interface should aim at avoiding. The workaround would be near the bottom…
