• Setting the default attachment path to a folder on the internal hard drive doesn't give rise to this error. The error could possibly be caused by Zotfile trying to rename and move attachments to the external hard drive when it is not connected.

• It's on an external hard drive. Zotfile renamed the drive and altered the path such that attachments cannot be found on the old path.
