I've received that error on OS X when I was using the wrong interpreter (e.g. fink or darwinports). Could you run which python PS, how do you get a code quote? In HTML posts, use blocks

Preview releases don't have release notes. See: https://www.zotero.org/trac/timeline for specific changes made in the SVN version, which eventually get pushed as new releases

Upgrade to the new version of the openoffice.org plugin: http://www.zotero.org/documentation/openoffice_integration

The present sync beta version of Zotero is able to use EndNote styles as-is. This feature was disabled in the previous beta following the Thomson Reuters lawsuit against GMU. Thomson Reuters has stated that you cannot use EndNote styles in third-p…

It is still a dedicated type (used by "create item from current page" & selectable in the type chooser in the right-most pane).

See also: http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/3100/, the links there, and many other threads This suggestion apparently elaborates the long-standing feature request to rate not items, but specific item/tag combinations.

If you wanted to subvert WordPress to this end, you can presumably follow Mark's advice & make one reference per post or something similar. I would probably use something other than (or in addition to) WordPress to handle bibliographic data. D…

What do you mean by "does not seem to work at all?" What do citations look like before and after this change? Can you post your style somewhere? Or a diff & the current style that it applies to?
-
I received a question about this off-list, so have posted the inquiry to the XBib tracker.

Another question: is this a global issue (set on a style-wide basis), or a local one (specific to different variables and such)? As far as I can tell, it is the former: I have not seen type-dependent quoting. The only possible hiccup I can think of …

You probably want to use something like: and the current behavior is probably defined in the author-short macro, which you did not show us.

Single vs. double quotes does not seem to have a 1:1 mapping of the different English locales. MHRA is UK & uses single quotes. Some Taylor & Francis journals ( a UK publisher) use double quotes. This is a styling issue, not a locale issu…

Within English, there are some citations that use single quotes & some that use double quotes. Other locales also have multiple quoting styles. Locales, alone, will not solve the issue.
-
rintze made a similar observation re. MHRA style. Prefix/suffix is a fine enough work around. I agree that applying an attribute of "quote type" is a reasonable feature request if "quotes" is meant to be used. There are many quote styles: there …

Not at this time. Maybe not in the future--the ISI list does not appear to be a 1:1 mapping & Thomson Reuters would doubtlessly claim copyright over the specific tabulation.

The RDF from del.icio.us uses a different schema from Zotero RDF, so you cannot import it. Zotero references to/from del.icio.us and firefox bookmarks has been planned. One possible work-around is to import your del.icio.us bookmarks to co…

Hierarchical types have been discussed quite a bit--search the forums for more info. For rapid entry, you can duplicate items currently & just change the chapter info.

Thanks for contacting them. Please either send them to this thread or report the particular record that failed & why. We have stated how their records can be cleaned up & they'd then work with other COinS tools as well.

This is style-specific. You must choose (or make) an author-date style to get that behavior. The style repository has previews of citation behavior.

This is probably intended. Search for past discussion or, under the "Export" tab in Zotero preferences, set "include URLs of paper articles in references."

FAQ #1

Is there anything that can be done to restore the links to my database? If you were backing up via the recommended method of duplicating your zotero directory, then you can restore that directory. If you had using the sync beta, you could have retr…

From the FAQ, linked by Matthias: To add a editor click the + sign on the author line in the right column. This will create an additional Author line. If you click the triangle to the left of the new author field you will be able to change it to an …

http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/4299/ From an official support point-of-view, I'd imagine that the stable version of FF (3) and Zotero (1.0.7) are preferred. But a fix to allow Zotero to run on minefield has already been implemented

Unfortunately, Thomson Reuters believes they own the style (and other user-created EndNote® styles). They ask that you obtain their written consent to use it outside of EndNote or to distribute it to people who aren't licensed EndNote users. I can…

The COinS on that page has a ton of empty entities. Ideally, the site would not include these. Zotero fails specifically because 'rft.au' exists, but is empty. Removing that element from the span makes the page work. I guess that Zotero shou…

These are unrelated problems, as DSpace uses a different translator & does not embed COinS. Your second link (that you claim uses COinS) requires your own session data. Please give a permalink if possible or instructions on finding a resou…

Thomson Reuters has asserted that you may not use their styles in third-party software, such as Zotero. A CSL style can probably be made so that you can use this with Zotero. Please link to a style manual, try to find the closest matching …

As above, the latest translator is only in the not-yet-released 1.0.8 and the dev builds. Excluding UTF-8 from the entities is intentional and persists in the latest version of the translator--I don't know if there are any toolchains that actua…
