• Hello! sorry for a delayed reply, I have been away. I am not sure what changed but the problem seems to have resolved. I did also wonder if it was because I am nearly at my maximum limit for citations? thank you so much for the support.

• aaah ok, thank you, that makes sense. In that case I think I need to change back to the full version of the Chicago style (I had a few issues because my computer had to be re-built, anyway, I wont bore you with that!). How do I edit the style please…

• aaah ok, thank you. I realise I was not using the syncing function and have started from scratch and done that now. Luckily I hadn't done lots of citations at this stage.
