If you copy out from this document just the citation

into a new document, and try to insert a citation, do you still see this issue? If so, could you share that document with support@zotero.org?

Hello! sorry for a delayed reply, I have been away. I am not sure what changed but the problem seems to have resolved. I did also wonder if it was because I am nearly at my maximum limit for citations? thank you so much for the support.
