@kavana, thanks so much!
-
@kavana, could you send me an anvite too?
-
Sorry, I misunderstood the procedure. I tried to follow your instruction, and the funny thing is the previously unsynced items now appear in the iOS app. I'll post again when the problem arises again.
-
I don't understand why it matters when the sync took place from the last item uploaded to the online library. To me it only means that the iOS app has failed to sync for over an hour. Anyways, the new debug ID is D825993820.
-
i’ve gone through everything on the trouble shooting checklist. here is the debug ID number: D23679393.
-
No, I don't see it even after force-syncing multiple times.
-
I think that's the cause of the issue. Juris-M is still based on Zotero 5 and hasn't introduced the built-in PDF reader. So I take the annotations made in the iOS app can only be processed by the built-in PDF reader. Any plan to make annotations un…
-
BTW, I'm using Juris-M, if that is of relevance.
-
"Annotations made on iOS will sync to the desktop app." -- Actually, they are not syncing either. I assumed that whatever is causing the annotations made in the iOS app not sync with the server was the problem, but I guess I'm facing a different …
-
Yes, that definitely fixed the problem. Thanks. But I wonder, for the past.. I don't know.. almost a decade that I've been using Zotero, never ran into this problem. Why now all of a sudden? Is this on the developers' things-to-fix list? Leaving no…
-
I had no idea Zotero was developing its own iOS app. Oh yes, I'm definitely going to wait for it.
-
I stand corrected. It has reappeared. Thanks!
-
I've since updated my Word to the most recent 16.13.1. Still, the Zotero tab hasn't returned.
-
Any follow-up on this guys?
-
Ah ha! Mine says 15.33.
-
According to the Add-ons Manager, it says 5.0.14.SA.5.0.45m33. I wonder why it doesn't start with 16. Am I barking up the wrong tree?
-
All is well!
-
@Frank, now I see the blue "progress bar" to the left side of the spinning arrow, and some attachments seem to be downloading. I'll report back in a while.
-
@Dan, you're probably right. What I meant was that at least Juris-M can now sync up and down new entries and collections. (Even that was not working up until a couple of hours ago.)
-
Ok, the new beta has solved the stalling issue, but it didn't cure my original problem: attachments not syncing on the OSX machine. To answer Frank's initial questions: (1) Be sure you have the latest Juris-M installed. ==> yes, I have the bet…
-
Unfortunately, it's not working for me. I've let the beta sync for over 10 minutes, but the arrow is still spinning and the server shows no change.
-
(1) Yes, I had entries synced as recently as August 4. I see them on the Zotero server (2) I didn't move my data. I simply installed Firefox and the Juris-M add-on, and let Juris-M sync -- or try to sync. (3) Yes, they are available on the server …
-
I'm actually experiencing stalling in other, Windows-based Juris-M's too. Even in the Windows-based Juris-M, the arrow has been spinning for over an hour. Also, it's failing to upload new entries and new collection structure to the Zotero serv…
-
Yes, it worked! Thanks!!
-
Yes, beta3 still triggers the error, now with the key as you said. What do I do with the key? I put the key in the search box in Juris-M, but nothing comes up. (The key is TZ23K3TC.) BTW, I already know which item that caused failure, because the…

No, I don't see any hack-syntax items. It appears that it triggers on this specific manuscript that I'm working on. I haven't tried other documents, but a brand-new document doesn't trigger the error. On this specific document, it triggers both on…

It says: {"len"{},"primaryData":false,"itemData":{"1261":true,"22":true},"itemDataAlt":false,"creators":false,"altCreators":false,"deleted":false,"note":false,"source":false,"attachmentData":false} Does this make sense?

I didn't know it had always been screen-scrapping from GS. My experiences have been so good with the GS translator that it never occurred to me it was screen-scrapping! Is there a chance that the Google Scholar developers are not aware of how lega…
-
Well, it's is definitely good news that at least there are alternatives to Google Scholar that provide structured metadata for court cases. It's a shame that Google Scholar has stopped to provide metadata. It's odd that Google has chosen to do so t…
