I think MLZ's translator is off again with Google Scholar case law.
-
If Zotero's rule is to "recognize leading ASCII punctuations that are not opening braces/brackets/parentheses or quotes", then Zotero (or MLZ) is not behaving in an unexpected manner. It is more natural to ignore punctuations in entry names, but I'…

In the latest iteration of MLZ, the sort order of (sub)collections still doesn't follow Unicode. I don't remember how Zotero proper behaved. It's been too long.
-
Yes, and I love it! Thanks.
-
Prof. Bennett?
-
Yes, it's back!
-
It sounds like a very worthwhile project. I'll participate when you officially start accepting public proposals.
-
Oh... I See..
-
Oh... I thought Zotero and MLZ share that part of the program. Does that mean Zotero behaves differently and lets the user jump from the Jurisdiction to the Court field with the "tab" key?
-
Yes, it worked! Thanks!

Ok, I followed the instruction on https://www.zotero.org/support/debug_output. But when I click "Submit to Zotero Server" button, the button is grayed out momentarily, the green bar to the right is filled, and the "Submit to Zotero Server" button b…

I got the "Could not save item / An error occurred while saving this item. Check Known Translator Issues for more information." error.

I'll take another look, but Zotfile doesn't provide a wildcard for every field. There is one for "shortTitle", but none for "caseName".
-
I've gone over the Zotfile page on the wildcards. But I still don't think there is a wild card to pull out the "Case Name" field in MLZ.

Well, I spoke too soon. I thought the attachments were finally syncing, as the empty circles had all turned into solid blue circles. Now, they are back to empty circles. At least syncing initiates when I click the attachment, so all I have to do is …
-
All the other steps were irrelevant, but the "Reset File Sync History" did the trick. Thanks!
-
Another clue for my problem: When I have the "Download files" switched to "as need" from "at sync time" in the Preference, I can at least initiate sync for an individual attachment by double clicking the attachment. But with the option switched to …

stored PDF files. (Snapshots may not be sincing either, but I could care less about snapshots.) Yes, the files are definitely present in the Zotero library on the website. (I subscribe to the Zotero storage.) The vast majority of these files were p…

You're right. I concede, although I had personally never come across a journal article like that before. :-)
-
(Sorry for the nagging. I believe in "the squeaky wheel gets the grease" too strongly. :-) I see. I'm bothered by snapshot of any site where I'm going after a PDF. The translator knows when the item being grabbed is an article or a report, as op…

Any response from the developers?
-
It works! Thanks.

That's brilliant! Thanks!

Author-date style.. Thanks!

Thanks!

at least in regular Zotero, automatic journal abbreviations override the Journal Abbr. field They do in regular Zotero? The Journal Abbr. prevails in MLZ. mmm. I wish MLZ will adopt regular Zotero's approach in the long run. I don't think making the…

With the rebooting of the computer, the problem has gone. But I'd welcome the dev team's input for posterity's sake.
-
Can the Zotero developers chime in on this? Is it possible to change the attachment that opens when you double click the parent?
-
Thanks for the confirmation. Any plan to make the language setting a trait of the styles? Each publication has its policy on foreign literature, so I think a natural place to store the language settings would be in a style, not the document.
