Any further ideas about what the problem might be?

The only extensions that are installed are Zotero itself and the Zotero word processor plugins.

Adam, Thanks for your help. I picked the items to import almost at random, so I don't think it would be the issue you suggest. But here are some of the JSTOR items that worked on my computer but not on the person's I was helping. http://ww…

An addendum: I've also tried the automatic import on the New York Times website and Project Muse. NY Times attaches the web screenshot, and Project Muse attaches the article PDF all without any problem. It seems to me that the problem must be limite…

I'm having the same problem, using Zotero 2.0b4 on Mac OS X 10.5.7. Error report: 2015297574 I've tried restoring my library from the server, and I've tried uninstalling Zotero, but none of these has worked.

[Developer's Note, 2020: Making changes directly to the Zotero database is strongly discouraged, and absolutely shouldn't be done if you're using Zotero syncing. — D.S] I had to delete my tags (almost all of which were automatically added and so no…

I have collections for types of projects, and subcollections for each project. So I have a collections "Classes," "Projects," "Archived Projects," and "Future Projects," with all the subcollections that you might expect.

Thanks. I wasn't aware of the advanced search functionality. That method works just fine.

To clarify my somewhat long-winded post above: For second citations using the Chicago Note without Reference List style in the Word plugin, second citations to a work always use the "Pages" field in Zotero (which is presumably meant to hold the tot…
