Apologies, I have found the Better BibTeX extension and it does the trick.
-
No, the default style of the document isn't in italics. In a blank new document, in-text refs aren't automatically italicized. The only italics-related thing I did that preceded this abnormal behaviour was I changed the formatting of captions from b…

Well the citation templates should include the coauthors in numbered last & first fields instead, such as: |last2 = |first2 = |last3 = |first3 = |last4 = |first4 = |last5 = |first5 = . . . |last(n) = |first(n) =

Well that's why I'm here, I don't know how to edit it myself. I'm no programmer. I went to the link you provided and it was no use, as I don't understand JavaScript and I think learning it from scratch is going to take me weeks, that if I even can.

Rofl, many of these preferences (as you may have noticed I only once said it's something Wikipedia prefers, and that's based on a conversation I had with an admin on Wikipedia [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Fuse809/Archive_1#Refs_over_one_…

I could have got the dash thing wrong, but some sort of dash instead of that – operator is generally preferred.
-
These preferences are for me; I like Wikipedia's referencing style, so I use a sandbox of mine on Wikipedia to create my Wiki-style references for my blog. My preference is to have the date expressed in long form.
-
Nvm, I got that (quick-copy) to work just fine; just focus on explaining the tweak translator, please. Thanks for your time.
-
How do I tweak the translator? Plus there's no "site-specific export settings" that I can find in quick copy, this is what I see when I follow the instructions in the link you gave: http://i.imgur.com/io7U4nP.png

I think I have done this. Here's my CSL file https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B1_sXH68hMWBWkJFSEpwbVdzeGc/edit?usp=sharing

I should probably specify what I mean by "book" I have an encyclopedia article, not a book.
-
If this was facebook I'd like your comments as many times as I possibly could cause it just worked for me without a hitch! Thank you, so much!

what conditional? Else-if?
-
Whenever I add a conditional it doesn't give those other two options, just else-if and else; here's a screenshot. http://imgur.com/VQmLbCT

Oh and how do I get the style to include a space prior to the next author's surname? Atm it looks like this: Accadia, T;Acernese, F;Alshourbagy, M;Amico, P;Antonucci, F;Aoudia, S;… Astone, P. (2012). Virgo: a laser interferometer to detect gravitati…

This actually worked pretty well for me; thanks. But there is one little thing I need ya help on; how do I add an "if" conditional? I only seem to be able to add "else-if" conditions when I click "+" in the left-hand top corner of the page.
-
It is true; but I would like Zotero to produce something copyable to clipboard that follows the Wikipedia style.
-
Basically what I do is I go into chrome and find the webpage, journal, book, w/e I'm citing, and use the Zotero plug-in to transfer the citation to Zotero standalone and then I go through the info right-hand panel and check all the information was t…
-
Yes I am.
-
The accessed date in the right-hand panel is my local time.
-
Here's a sample citation I copied to clipboard from Zotero: "1. Filiotou A, Vaiopoulos G, Capsimali V, Stavrianeas N, Kaloterakis A. Acute intermittent porphyria and systemic lupus erythematosus: report of a case and review of the literature. Lupus …

Under the date info section in the citation. It also pops up because of this in my citation. It says cited: (wrong date) in the citation (I'm using Vancouver).
-
@aurimas thank you so much! That worked perfectly!
-
The text becomes Calibri 11pt, just like Word's default.
-
I can tell you that it isn't for me, I even opened a new word document to be sure and pasted the text from zotero and it was Times New Roman 12pt unlike the Calibri 11pt that's Word's default (if default and the font used prior to any user-enforced …

Almost, but when a doi is provided it is meant to be given in the reference. e.g. Bhutta ZA, Darmstadt GL, Hasan BS, Haws RA. Community-based interventions for improving perinatal and neonatal health outcomes in developing countries: a review of the…

I have a two additional questions. 1. I have ticked the "Include URLs" in the Cite-->Styles tab and while it did include the website a few times it is no longer for some reason. How do I correct this? 2. Why is it that one of my referen…

What do I need to do to get it to include, "Available from: website"? I have tried changing referencing styles (not just between Vancouver styles either, I have tried the National Library of Medicine and APA styles too and I have checked that each d…

Well I noticed some Vancouver Referencing Styles at http://www.zotero.org/styles that match what I want. How do I get Zotero to use them?
