New version available in the styles page, has a number of things fixed to be more conformant. http://www.zotero.org/styles
-
OK - thanks - I'm fixing it up now.
-
I've seen the same too on word 2007. Anyone seen it on OO? Edit: Ok - reproduced it in word and OO 2.3. I've raised a ticket #857. A workaround that sometimes works is to change the style to another one, and then change back. Sometimes this reorder…

Yes - this happens if you cite them singly. What you need to do is cite them all at the same time. When the dialog pops up to select the reference, select the Multiple Sources... button on the dialog, and this allows you to cite several sources a…

Roman numerals are certainly used in some cases - in Chicago I've seen them. Such as references to introductory material such as pp. xiv-xxii

I think it is in the plan to have a citation editor. I've been thinking about what one might look like, and any way I look at it, it seems a complex thing to make. It is not a straightforward thing to format a reference, however it might look l…

SBL - haven't done it yet. I started looking at it and collecting some sample references, but didn't get started on the style yet. I'm not sure on the 1.0.2 schedule - you'll have to check with the main team. You can download an interim build to t…

MTBradley - can't reproduce the Harvard 2 double space issue. What sort of thing was it you were referencing - can you paste and example? Occasionally there are trailing spaces on the end of the zotero stored fields - especially if you have edited t…

OK - the spurious comma, and the ibid stuff is fixed now I believe. Dates will have to remain for another day!
-
I think you're breaking new ground here - none of the styles I've done have required it, or else I've ignored/missed the cases where they do. I might take a look later on if I get time, to see what's involved.
-
Thanks for the info. This shows up a small deficiency in zotero, which should be fixed for 1.0.2 when it should be possible to support this style.
-
OK - thats the bit I was having trouble with. My question is what should that look like if you wanted to reference a particular page too? Helene P Foley, ‘Choral identity in Greek tragedy’, Classical Philology, Vol. 98 , no. 2, 2003, pp. 1-30. …

Taken care of in the dev styles.
-
>"Summer 2000", for example, will be parsed as 2000 for use in sorting and in the UI but > will show up as "Summer 2000" in Chicago, which I imagine is the desired behavior. I'm not sure this is the case. When formatting the date for display …

drrayl - for what format are you seeing the (2)? I get John Smith, ‘Afterthoughts on Maet's Olympia’, Oxford Art Journal, Vol. 33, no. 2, October 2010. on my test data - so without a (2).
-
APA style has been updated to include DOI in preference to URL where available as per #806
-
DOH - ok - its a 1.0.2 fix that allows it to show the short name, I forgot about that! Roll on 1.0.2.
-
drrayl: Subsequent cite, (with specific page ref) Castle, 'Eros and Liberty', pp. 162-3. Think this is done now.
-
Thanks for the report. I think that Analytica Chimica Acta should get it right - provided you have a Journal Abbr entry in zotero. The other one I'll fix. Let me know if there are other problems.
-
As regards SBL, I know there is a new Chicago update arriving soon. I think its worth checking this out with a preview tool such as csledit, and then see how close it is to SBL and if there are adjustments that can be productively made.
-
drrayl - thanks - that's very helpful. A new version will be there soon with hopefully the new additions made. Two questions 1. Its often common to have a chapter from a book or a journal entry with page numbers in the zotero entry, so the chapter …

Society of Biblical Literature: http://www.sbl-site.org/assets/pdfs/SBLHS_SS92804_Revised_ed.pdf CSL Hasn't really got the support for biblical formats yet - some discussion on the list about this. History and Theory http://www.wesleyan.edu/histjrn…

drrayl - I have to say my efforts are just a start. I expect there to be more work to do when people start using them for real, as the instructions for authors documents are often a little thin on real world details. So I look forward to bug repor…

Done a first version of these - the format is a little sparse.
-
@Jnic - sure send me a message and we can collaborate. What I really need are a few examples for say a journal, book and a book chapter. Then we can see what can be done.
-
got a link?
-
Have you got an example of how it is now, and what it should look like?
-
I suspect that your zotero.sqlite file isn't a valid zotero database in that case. .schema might show more.
-
Meteoritics and Planetary Science added - had to update the preview tool I wrote as Its now difficult to see if there is one you've already done!
-
Looks good to me - are you sure you have a valid zotero.sqlite as the first arg? Does SELECT title FROM csl; give something reasonable?
