There seems to be a problem with non-ASCII characters in WorldCat’s data generation pipeline. As you can see, the data are fine on the site, but get garbled when it generates JSON or RIS data. You might try to report this issue with their API to Wor…

@emilianoeheyns Could you see if you can fix this? Seems to be applying the date suffix to both parts of a date range? @Euan_Wall An alternative for now might be to do a group with a delimiter instead of a suffix on the date.

Can you elaborate a bit more on what these two categories are? It looks to me more like the distinction between the in-text citations and bibliography at the end of the document. That distinction is already built into the APA CSL style (and many oth…

Can you show a screenshot of what you mean? (Upload somewhere and link here)

Add the reviewed title to Extra also: Reviewed title: Title of the item being reviewed
-
You can add that in Extra like this: Reviewed author: Last || First A.

What citation style are you using?

The official Zotero iPad app is currently in beta testing. When that is available, that will be the best way to work with an iPad. For now, if you use Zotero file storage, the web library on zotero.org is what I would recommend. With WebDAV, the S…

Switching to a numeric style first so you know where the general location of the hidden item is can also help

Here is a list of WebDAV services have used with Zotero https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/webdav_services

My Publications is a part of “My Library”. You can add items to it in the Zotero desktop app. Could you clarify what your issue is?
-
Zotero doesn’t give ETAs for release dates, sorry.
-
That would do it

What exactly do you mean? Can you give more detail?

This isn’t an issue with Zotero or zbib—the data that’s registered by the publisher that’s associated with that ISBN is poor quality. That’s not uncommon, as ISBNs are not centrally organized. If you use a URL for a webpage with better data, you w…

It’s really not safe to run a web browser that old.

For title fields, you can right click and change the case from the menu options. These should be fixed automatically on import in most cases. Do you have a URL where they w imported in all uppercase?

Sorry if I misunderstood

You could take a look at how OSF implements this for their preprint servers, eg: https://psyarxiv.com/k9mn3 https://github.com/CenterForOpenScience/ember-osf-preprints You might also look at running citation-js on your server, which can take struc…

The CSL variable you are looking for is `container-title` (website title is like journal title or book title)

You set the document citation style in your Word processor, not in Zotero. In the Zotero tab/menu in Word/Google Docs, click Document Preferences and select your style.

You would need to write a custom wildcard using regex like demonstrated here: https://zotfile.com

With respect to sharing, there are several specific strengths of Zotero. Zotero groups have much more functionality than Endnote (at least when I last checked)—Endnote groups could not be synced to the desktop app and were difficult to use in Word d…

Zotero items are identified with a combination of library and item ID numbers. These aren’t generally shown to users. They are robust and cannot be confused or crossed. The Zotero word processor plugin has a button in the Add Citation interface to t…

It would be nice to link the database records to my (completely separate) archive of PDF files, but I would only consider doing that if it could use my existing collection and not make it's own copy of everything like EndNote does. Can Zotero do th…

This is correct Chicago style according to the manual. If you do want to change it, you would need to edit the CSL style file. In the first line, find demote-non-dropping-particle="display-and-sort". Change the part in quotes to “never” to have…

Zotero is principally a desktop application, and most of its functionality is not available in the web library (eg, integration with Word processors for citation). If you just need one-off bibliography making, consider https://zbib.org You can try …

Be sure that you have the BetterBibTeX plugin installed

If you are doing legal citation, consider using Juris-M, a version of Zotero with much expanded legal citation support, including a very functional style for the Indigo Book style guide
