Yeah, sometimes sites don’t have the best quality data, so some manual editing is needed.
-
Yes, never use (full name) unless it’s an organization. Generally, titles and degrees aren’t included in citations, so you would just enter this person as Bloggs || Frederick If you want to include the titles/degrees in citations (again, I don’t r…

That’s the CSL variable “Genre”. Enter it in Extra the same way.
-
I’m not following. Can you’d receive exactly what are doing and what is happening ?
-
Custom item types are planned for the medium term, but it is a very technically difficult problem, especially if users expect to be able to include such types in citations.
-
To delete a reference from the bibliography, you need to delete the citation to it wherever it is in your document. Usually this is easy—just select the citation text and delete it: e.g., “[23]” or “(Smith, 2015)”. The only time you need to show f…

@thinkround For PMID or PMCID, add them to the top of Extra: PMID: 12345 That will get picked up by citation styles.
-
(Generally, though, if you are using Zotero with TeX or Markdown, then you should install the Better BibTeX plugin.)
-
Double check that you used the APA with Abstract style (and not the regular APA style) and that the item actually has an abstract in Zotero.
-
If your document is very long, it can take a long time to update the bibliography. I recommend clicking the Refresh button and then letting it run until done.
-
What exactly is the error message? (Spanish is fine.)
-
If you are using Zotero storage, be sure to set Zotfile’s preferences to store files using Zotero, not a custom location. In that case, you would be using Zotfile to rename files, but not move them.
-
If you are using the Better BibTeX plugin, you can add raw TeX information to an item in the Extra field, but in this case, you should just change the item type to Conference Paper.
-
You can add more styles from the Styles menu in Zotero preferences.

Are you writing for a specific publisher or university?

There is a pending update to the APS style to include titles here: https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/pull/4794#issuecomment-670834044 You can install the style immediately with this link: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/citation-…

Select the items in Zotero, right click, and choose Manage Attachments->Rename Attachments

@luca_94 Because the original poster was using the Organization Studies style, which uses the no-DOI version.
-
American Physical Society does not require article titles in its articles.
-
@luca_94 The bug is definitely fixed in the link I posted. Note that the link I gave is for APA 6 (no DOI, no issue number). How exactly are you installing the style?
-
For unpublished conference presentations, use the type “Presentation”, not “Conference Paper”. The latter is for conference papers formally published in proceedings.
-
Add language: en to Extra
-
Fixed. Sorry about that. @christinaluethy You can install the fix immediately by installing this style: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/citation-style-language/styles/eb1170e519459c79c245c3cc05d5109600c2610d/apa-no-doi-no-issue.csl

I suggest entering these as “Conference Paper” (which is for conference presentations published in proceedings) and adding this to Extra: Genre: Abstract

After you have set Zotero to download files as needed and you are sure the files have been uploaded to the WebDAV server, then close Zotero, open the storage folder in the Zotero data directory from your file explorer, search for *.pdf and delete th…

Looking at the most recent issue of the journal, they do not group multiple citations together nor order the bibliography alphabetically: https://ieeexplore.ieee.org/document/8636969 I suspect your reviewers are mistaken.

No, this is a limitation of Word—it can’t show multiple footnotes on one line. You can trick Word into showing notes on one line, but that doesn’t save any vertical space. https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msoffice/forum/msoffice_word-mso_other-ms…

There is no new receipt—it’s the same charge . All that has changed is your expiration date. You can see the receipt for the transaction at https://www.zotero.org/settings/storage/invoice

Here is a library with the items from the APA manual I use for testing that style: https://www.zotero.org/groups/2205533/test_items_library/items
