You don't even need to copy/paste. You can highlight any text you want on a website, and then right-click->Zotero->Create Zotero item and note from selection.

Is it possible that you are not exceeding your own quota, but a shared group? Group storage counts against the owner's quota. If that's not it, the error message may tell you what file is causing the problem, so you could investigate that (maybe som…

If you have cited multiple copies of a citation, Zotero treats them as separate references. So if you cited two versions in a document, you have to remove all references to the one you don't plan to keep, and replace them with references to the one …

What you have there is probably your entire Firefox profile. In that folder should be a folder called Zotero. That is the folder you want to back up. Here is more on backup if that does not help: zotero_data [Zotero Documentation] The directory co…

There has been a spike in use of the Zotero servers lately because of all the upgrades since Zotero 2 came out of beta. I have read in other threads that they are working on improving the wait times. You could search for similar threads. How long ha…

If you would like to formally request these styles, you should follow these instructions: requesting_styles [Zotero Documentation]

I assume you mean that Zotero opens one of the files when you double click on the parent citation. There is no need to create and delete a dummy note. If you want to see the list of attachments you can either click on the "+" symbol to the left of t…

It will be awesome when this is implemented (hopefully still 2.1?). Currently you can only change the formatting for an entire field. So you can italicize the whole title for example, but not just a scientific name within it. kb:rich_text_bibliograp…

FYI, Zotero 1 does not work with the latest Firefox, so you will need to update to Zotero 2, or roll back your version of Firefox if that is what you are experiencing.

Did you clear your browser cache?

Try just clicking on the bottom border of the left panel, and dragging it up. If that doesn't work, check that you are using the default Firefox theme. Then try making the Zotero panels taller by dragging from the top. It is possible to shrink Zoter…

Are you getting a new error message, or is it still telling you that the group is at its quota (not that you are at your personal quota)? Are you the owner of the group you are trying to sync these items to? This may already be clear to you, but ju…

It seems like people are having different experiences getting Zotero set up with Word 2010. For me, it just worked immediately. You could try looking at these threads. Zotero Forums - Word 2010 broken with latest version of the Word plugin Zotero Fo…

If that one thing is the only difference, it seems like it would be fairly simple to make the change yourself. See the following link, and the thread below specifically discusses the syntax used for initials. csl_simple_edits [Zotero Documentation] …

Sorry, I did not consider that. I was specifically referring to the right-click options which are unambiguously called "Delete" and "Remove", rather than using the delete key. Thanks for clarifying. I certainly don't want to mislead anyone.

How is it not accurate? (I looked at the links and see no difference from what I said)

You don't need a new account. Your old one will work just fine. I agree that is a bit confusing. It should really be a log in or register screen. That screen prompts you to register even if you are already logged in to a current Zotero account.

If you don't hold your cursor quite as close to the edge of the list, it scrolls more slowly (at least on Windows). It is a bit tough to control though.

If you delete a collection itself, all the items that were in it will remain in your library. However, if you go into a collection, select all items in it, and delete all those items, they will be deleted from the your library as well.
-
Also, with Firefox, if you uncheck "allow websites to use their own font" under advanced on the content options tab, then you can specify the font used on all webpages. There are addons that allow you to do it on a page by page basis as well.

If you move the item from the group library to your library it should sync.
-
The message you posted only says that the group is at its quota, not that you are at yours. Anything in your personal library should still sync completely. It is only the items that you added to the group library that will not sync if the group is a…

I think creating a group would be the best way to go. You can delete multiple items from your library fairly easily though. Just go to the collection, then select all items, and then delete. Empty your trash, and they will be gone. Edit: to select …

I had this same issue when I first came across Google Books and Zotero. Turns out it is expected functionality. For some reason the add item icon in the address bar only works on the overview page. As I mentioned previously though, even if that is i…

That's a good question. Before my Touch Pro broke, I was using the beta of Fennec (or whatever they are calling Firefox mobile these days), and it had pretty decent addons in various stages of development. However, there was not much in the way of t…

You can't update a citation to get new info based on an identifier. However, you could just create a new item based on the identifier, and then drag any attachments (PDF, etc.) from the old one, then delete it. You could also just grab the PDF, and …

I would first make sure that you have the same version of Zotero installed on the different computers (particularly that you don't have 1.x on one, and 2.x on the other). Then make sure you have the same sync preferences set. If so, they really shou…
