@dstillman it did, sometimes, but like with the Norm and Premium Voices I did not find a pattern why it suddenly worked. Generally speech-dispatcher does work for me though, I configured it using Pied. I believe that the problem might be in the lang…

@dstillman now the Premium and Norm Voices work for me as well, thank you! The local option, however, is greyed out for me, is that on purpose to make the functionality work, or is that a bug? If so I would open another issue with a report

@AbeJellinek Is there any update on this issue? Did anyone find a fix/workaround for this problem yet? It still persists for me in Zotero 10.0, and it seems like it affects a lot of people. I would like to know if any Linux user here had no problem …

Maybe I did not write it clearly above, but the problem described was (also) occuring with the non-flatpak install of both programs. But I am astonished by how until now I have always overlooked all the notes about the unofficial nature of the Flatp…

Addition: The crash I described also happens when I try to use the Google Docs integration via the Browser Picker. Google Docs will show "Zotero is updating your document. Please wait…" and Zotero will crash in the background. I submitted a report w…
