my 2c: it all depends on the publisher: some publishers give each book, book chapter, or conference abstract its unique DOI (bravo to those who do!!). But most publishers limit (if at all), DOIs to entire books or conference abstract books - making …

+1. I very much would welcome this option (SSO authentication for read-only users), too! For a company, each person needing to set up their own login and password is putting one big hurdle inbetween the user and the Zotero library.

+1 for column filtering: once you get used to it, you miss it when its not available. Saving an advanced search and editing it is a relatively time-consuming workaround. Also, adding tags for document type is another workaround, but requires the add…

+1 as this is one of my major gripes about Zotero (which I really like otherwise - fantastic tool).

+1. Same here. In my case, the main item types include journal article, newspaper articles, and 'web'. By the way, the browser plugin gets it often wrong and I don't bother to change the type any more.

Strong support from me for this request, this would definitely be highly welcome! I currently under use saved searches because I can not group them.

+1 also from me. Ideally keep a backup copy just in case. Allow single and bulk update. Thanks!

Also from my side - would be very useful. For me, the idea is to both update selected references and bulk-wise. Ideally, identify all entries without volume and page information, but with a DOI (PMID...) and allow for bulk updating these. It would m…

Yes, that would be a feature which would be highly welcome (e.g. to update publication year, volume, issue and page numbers). Both Mendeley and Endnote have that possibility (and no, I'm not going to switch to either of them).

Thanks for your support. At the time of writing my initial post, I saw no nothing under Tools / Add-ons / Extensions. I re-installed zotfile and things were back.
